Pool is amazing the photos online don't do it justice. All of the staff here went above and beyond apart from that one guy I wish I grabbed his name
One of the guys on reception hung up on me when we had ordered and waited for a spare bed for almost 8hrs before we received it. Rooms are out dated. Over priced dinner buffet and low quality food with few options. Have to pay extra for snorkeling/water gear which was not stated upon booking.
The location was not very far from the center & the beach (10 to 15mins walk). The hotel accepted our pre request for a higher level and the view was nice. Check in was easy and room service delivered food very quickly (they also charge 6AUD for delivery of the food to the room). The Japanese restaurant was really nice too.
The cleaning service was pretty bad in which bath tub was not cleaned well, shampoo and lotion were not replaced and bath robes left unclean for days.
Loved the pool and pool surrounds. New towels were easy to attain. Outdoor bar was really nice.
The grout around the bath was missing in places and very grubby looking terrible. Mould on a freshly made bed doona cover. Very dirty curtains leading out onto the balcony. Room was not accommodated for 3 people. Everything came in twos. One of the staff members who appears to be in his mid 30's gave his phone number to my 19yo daughter and chatted her up at every opportunity. I ended up with a mouthful of raw rice while drinking a moccah coffee at breakfast. I was not charge for this hot drink. I was not offered a fresh free one as i would have expected.
The fantastic courtesy of the staff, including the concierge,! The fact that I was upgraded to a great suite! I’ve already booked for 2 more stays!
