My friends and I were on a road trip and the ability to collect keys from a coded box outside the hotel and therefore not having a specific check in time was really useful for us. Just across the road from some great restaurants and bars but far enough away to avoid the noise.
Hotels location is perfect. The furnitures are old but everything was clean. The breakfast was good. Staff is very nice and friendly.
The is no reception at night, but that was not a problem. The problem, they must turn off the elevator before they go. I think it will be better if they let it available nights.
This hotel is located next to a nice street that has several places to eat and is pretty close to the main shopping street, Königstraße. I’d say it takes 10-15 minutes walking to get there. This is the convenient part. As for everything else about this hotel, totally inconvenient and here’s why: on morning 1, it was 8:50am and the cleaning staff let themselves into my room while I was getting ready. This girl was a young blonde (this is important to know for later). On my last morning (3rd morning), I was literally using the toilet and a brown-haired, middle-aged woman let herself into my room at 8:40am and I actually had the DO NOT DISTURB sign hanging on my door. When I mentioned this as I was leaving the hotel, the front desk woman told me that they have a new cleaning lady and she doesn’t speak very much German. I don’t really appreciate them trying to blame 2 times of someone entering my room before 9am on a new cleaning girl who doesn’t speak that much German when it was two different cleaning girls and the first one spoke perfect German. How can you get this wrong (twice) when you should be checking the register each morning of who is there and who is leaving? Not to mention, check-out time isn’t until 11am. Not to mention, both times were before 9am! How do you justify that anyone is even awake at 9am when traveling? Perhaps people want to sleep in! This was highly inappropriate and very off-putting. Next: I had room 341 and it’s in the back of hotel facing an office building and connected to an apartment building. There is absolutely NO privacy when the windows are open and you have to leave them open because there in NO air-conditioning in the rooms and it’s hot as Hades in there. This was THE biggest inconvenience at this hotel in the middle of summer. The bed is super hard and uncomfortable. There is no elevator access after 9 or 10 pm and this is ridiculous to me.
Semi-close to downtown. Close to restaurants.
Location is OK. Walking distance from public transport and the city center.
It is quite old fashioned. Smell of smokes in the lobby. No air-conditioning.
Location, close to the center. Very close to public transportation. The room was good and very clean
Without internet connection, I did not receive this service.
