Good location within walking distance of the train station. Very close to the U system, which I needed to catch to the event I was attending. Also close to a grocery store, which was convenient. Liked the breakfast food, on the mornings I was able to make it to the breakfast room during the designated times. Room was sufficient for my purposes on this particular trip, and the lock-box option for retrieving the room key was appreciated, as the reception area was not staffed when I arrived around 8 PM on the first night.

Room was cold and clammy. There was no bathroom fan, and I am particularly sensitive to high humidity, so that was a bit uncomfortable. Opening the bathroom window helped, except it was raining for most of my stay, and the open window allowed cold air and cigarette smoke into the room. Secondhand smoke also came in under my door over the weekend from downstairs, where the smoking rooms are. If I had realized this was not an entirely non-smoking hotel, I would have booked elsewhere. It makes no sense to me that the smoking rooms were designated below the non-smoking rooms. That allowed secondhand smoke to drift right up the open stairwell and into the non-smoking room section. I am asthmatic, and the secondhand smoke was bad enough for me to need my inhaler. I mentioned the problem to staff upon check out, but the language barrier was such that I am not sure how much of what I said was understood.
