Fabulous b n b very friendly owner definitely recommend.
Elizabeth is a fantastic host. She was warm and welcoming. She set up the fire-place and invited us to enjoy the living room downstairs in the evening and also made us a delicious English breakfast next the morning. The property, although centuries old, is the perfect condition and renovated to suit modern usage. The rooms are cosy, comfortable and have terrific views of lush green meadows. We booked the lilac (3-bed) and cream (2-bed) rooms, and both had excellent views. The rooms are tastefully decorated and have everything you could possible need on a trip. The location is quite exotic, and you'd need a car to reach the farmhouse. There's free parking in the property. There's no bar or restaurant in the immediate vicinity, but you can easily find a couple of nice pubs if you travel for a mile or two. We went to a beautiful pub called The Bell for dinner, about a 5-minute drive from the farmhouse. We were absolutely impressed by the food and ambience.
There's nothing that we 'disliked', but there's just one little thing worth mentioning – wish there was a microwave to heat up some food for dinner, coz we were kinda lazy to go out again. Honestly, we were so much in love with the beautiful house that we didn't want to go out at all. A microwave would have been the perfect solution.
very attractive and peaceful. owner very helpful. really nice stay
We had the friendliest of welcomes to this delightful manor style farm house. The breakfast was outstanding with fresh mango, blueberries and gorgeous thick yoghurt followed by an enormous high end cooked breakfast. Outstanding value provided by the loveliest hostess.
For the amount we paid you could not possibly ask for more.
Fantastic welcome, delicious high quality breakfast, great view of surrounding fields. Comfy room and superb location for exploring Cotswolds, Stratford and Banbury.
