Lovely setting in large gardens, parking is £3 per day, but cheaper than any car park. And we did see quite a few cars getting booked. Staff were very helpful, room ready for us, views over garden. Very modern hotel, bathroom was bijou but enough. Drink making facilities, we requested more t bags and milk, and they arrived quickly. Very quiet hotel, comfy bed and pillows. All very clean. We ate out of hotel due to choice. We were lucky enough to be there while the once a year food market was on. Lots to see and do.
We liked everything
The staff and facilities were great
Our room was above the kitchen and very noisy overnight, didn't get any sleep.
Very helpful friendly staff. Excellent breakfasts. Very comfy bed. Located two minute walk from the center of town.
Nothing could have been better we were very happy
The Hotel didn't have a record of our booking when we arrived. I believe this was a problem with their computer system. We were upgraded to a better room because of the delay.
Location was excellent and the first day's breakfast was cold [heaters were turned off!]. The accessible room was the best we have had - a corner room with lovely walk in shower too.
no newspapers - either to order or for free - long walk to a paper shop or supermarket. dinners on a bridge package were awful - limited choice and badly cooked fish dishes. Last night of 5 we were offered sausage and baked beans - that is a breakfast dish!
