The location was brilliant, only about 10 minutes walk from the shops and the centre, and 15 minutes from the palace. There were also several food shops in the vicinity of the hotel. The staff was friendly, and the private parking is a huge bonus.
The WiFi connection that was supposed to work in all rooms was pretty poor. The room was standard, but didn't have a fridge in it, even though there was a fridge in the photos of the room. Shower head holder was broken and the protective wall in the shower was missing a piece. Breakfast was adequate, but could be more varied.
The sheets and towels were clean. Carpark available. WIFI available. There was a small balcony. Reception was always occupied. An iron could be borrowed but no ironing board. A hairdryer could be borrowed.
Breakfast was barely adequate, no tomatoes or cucumbers to accompany ham and cheese. No coffee machine (instant only). Noisy inefficient air conditioner. Tiny shower enclosure. Location was a 20 minute walk from the old town. TV from the 70's with no sound or picture on most channels. No divider on the balcony to the room next door. Supplied toiletries were minimal. No power point behind desk. Power point next to bed used for small fridge. The place needs renovation.
Location and cleanliness
I was very happy with the hotel. The staff were great, the breakfast nice and the room comfortable and clean. It was about 10-15 minutes walk down to the town.
The place was very difficult to find, given it was tucked away between high rise apartments. We walked around the block several times and couldn't find it and ended up knocking on the door of a small house with almost the same address. Fortunately, they could point us in the right direction because it bordered onto their property. Even then we had to walk around the corner and acess it from a different road than the said address. Better instructions for finding the place would have been appreciated. A strange place for a hotel but it was not too far from the middle of town.
Very good location (although surrounded by blocks of flats) - 15min walk from center and old town, just on the opposite site of Lidl grocery store. Private parking is an absolute value. Room was clean, air-conditioned and spacious. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good price in comparison to other accomodation options in high season
The only disadvantage was a breakfast - poor choice of food at the buffet
