Comfortable rooms make an easy base for the lake, with parking and quick access to the peninsula and its Old Town. The main Garda attractions and lakeside promenades sit close at hand. A relaxed setting and easy parking make it a comfortable lake base, a short distance from the castle and the Old Town. Sirmione reaches out on a long, narrow peninsula tipped by a moated lakeside castle and the Roman villa ruins known as the Grotte di Catullo. Warm sulphur springs feed lakeside spas, ferries hop between the lake's pretty resorts, and Verona and the Valpolicella wine hills lie a short drive inland. Lemon terraces and olive groves fringe the lakeshore.
