We liked the contrast in the architecture, the high tech aspects of the room, the views, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The overall package was first class.
The range of food available is limited for people staying for severeral days or longer and breakfast is not good value. The wine service in the restaurant needs to be revised because the white wines are not kept chilled and there is no other way to serve white wine. By the time our bottle was cold enough to be enjoyed at its best the meal was finished. It was noted that when there was a function in the ballroom the standard of service went down slightly, maybe due to the temporary reallocation of staff. These are very minor observations rather than complaints.

When the staff were available they were exceptionally well mannered and hand picked. They were really attentive too as you would expect for a hotel of this price in Singapore.
1. Food was below average; almost unpalatable including the cocktails.2. The valet service was rarely ever answered. 3. Temp staff unaware of what was going on in the lounge/library. 4. Very poor video library - quantity & quality. Overall, a long way to go to earn a 6 star rating, as published.
