Jacamo and Lorenzo Perfecto
The owners Jacamo and Lorenzo were so welcoming and helpful. They made our touring of Tuscany a highlight of our month long trip.
I didn't like the right corner of the gate facing out toward traffic and because of its historical designation it can't be modified. It took out my right rear door panel and undercarriage. Be advised: Pullout into the left hand on coming traffic when clear to avoid this mishap. Do NOT cut sharply left or right when making a turn. Pull straight out till you are clear of the gate.
A beautiful, unique hotel, quiet, with outstanding views over the Tuscan countryside, Simple, elegant, beautifully decorated rooms. Friendly, helpful staff.
Very freindly and helpfull staff, beautiful surroundings,in a charming building with character which is very tastefully decorated
A little bit too far from city centre
The Hotel provided very comfortable accommodation for the four of us in one room. The room also had pleasant views across the Tuscan country side. The hotel has a rustic appeal that suited what we were looking for. It is situated on the south side of Siena and just outside the old city wall and so gives quick & easy access to clients who wish to tour the southern villages and countryside of Tuscany on day trips. In contrast with many other locations it afforded easy and free parking which becomes important for people travelling by car. The hotel is isolated from the main road and being relatively small provides a tranquil location with olive groves on onside. Staff were very helpful at all times with excellent suggestions. A good B/fast.
Although we did like our room overall you can expect some plumbing noises in the morning. This is not a criticism but clients need to expect to do some walking to get to the main areas of Siena but there are bus services.
The place. Marvellous view of Toscana all around - you can see beautiful Toscan hills from your window and from the big nice garden terazza, including the towers in Siena. There is a bus stop for the centre of the city just in front of the hotel gate. The room was big and well equipped, but with old floor tiles, some of them - a trap. A marvellous garden - piece of the art with the olive trees and nice flowers - real charming old Palazzo
The shower cabin in the very big bathroom was very small for unknown reasons. The water was with unstable pressure (maybe not good hydrophore system)
Not much at all
The room was dingy, the bedding dirty, the soap and shampoo was as if on a boy scout campout, cheap poor quality and shampoo in pouch. Breakfast was poor quality compared to our other hotels
The location
No air conditioning in the rooms
the location, and the very warm reception--lovely breakfast as well
Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was served in a lovely dining room. We had a 'room with a view' at this hotel. Surrounding scenery was spectacular.
We had to get a bus to/from Siena as there was not a pavement to walk on when visiting the city centre. However, buses are frequent and fares are cheap. Lock on bedroom door was problematic.
The views from the hotel
broken tile on bedroom floor.A hotel of this standard should also have a hair drier and at least on english T.V .channel
The view from our bedroom - at the back of the villa was amazing.
The breakfast was a little disappointing.
