We cancelled, they had problems and defects and we did not stay there. Also, Kayak gave my card number to “Traveluro” allegedly to ‘service my booking’ but they charged my card themselves, without my prior consent, My card number was only for the hotel property to use, not an offshore platform operator as an intermediary. Safe in room did not work. Rude hotel manager told me not to worry “no one would steal your valuables”. I asked to escalate this issue and she refused. I asked to be moved to a room with a working safe. She lied as she said she offered my options which she did not. Pros (+) Location is great, right on Scottsdale Blvd and close to good dining options; The staff was all very nice. The rooms are clean and look recently updated.
Cons (-) The beds were not so comfortable, the pools were ALL very congested and the water in them was HOT, very likely over 100 degrees. "Soupy" is the term that comes to mind. It was not exactly what you expect to dive into in the middle of the Arizona summer. I am still not sure why they charge a resort fee, we didn't see any amenities other than what you would expect at any other hotel.

Cons (-) The bed were extremely uncomfortable, the room smelled very strong like it was painted, not good with kids. The interior of the room was not luxurious at all. Flat panel hollow core doors, basic trim. The putting green was not kept up all, it had weeds everywhere, the cups were not trimmed, the ball could barely get in the whole it was so overgrown.
