Sapporo hotels near Nakajima Park

Pros: The Breakfast was alright, as it did not meet our dietary requirements. There was little vegetarian option.

Cons: Provide more vegetarian option for breakfast. Even bread contain eggs.

Pros: Location, good breakfast buffet, helpful staff. Lawson store on the ground floor.

Cons: Room smelled like smoke even if we were in a non smoking floor.

Pros: The breakfast had many choices. Loved the danish every morning. Amazed that the bathroom mirror did not fog up after a bath because it had a heater behind it. Only in Japan!

Cons: We had to leave at 6:00 am the day we left for the airport. I asked the front desk if we could request the kitchen to pack us a small breakfast. They were apologetic in saying that they don't do this. There are hotels that send some food with their guests who are checking out very early or going on an early tour and will miss breakfast. This simple gesture would have made us feel cared for.

Pros: Comfortable, clean and spacious room. Good coffee machine and supplies provided. Really dnjoyed breakfast, too!

Cons: We were assigned to a non smoking floor.

Pros: Nice room & staffs. Just 5 minutes walk to subway station. Lawson shop is located on the ground floor of the hotel. Very convenient.

Cons: Mini bar policy. Complimentary water is supposed to be supplied one per person per day as other hotels. And it is not informed fully in advance how many bottle of waters are complimentary. Be aware that there were only bottles of water at the mini bar without any signs and it turned out that only a couple of water bottles were complimentary. (Our family were three members). We had to pay for extra water we consumed when we checked out.

Cons: They are very miserliness. Car Park not included, even water only provide one bottle for two days....

Cons: We stayed there for the first nite in our 10 days trip and another 3 consecutive nites when back to Sapporo before leaving Hokkaido for home. The staffs were not very friendly. Looked a bit cool though they smiled during our last 3 nites stay. It is a bit strange and never encounter such a rule in a supposed stars hotel that we were only given 3 bottles of water (we are 3 adults) free during the whole stay.

Pros: Love the design of the room, spacious and it has a separate bathroom and shower room that made our stay more comfortable and convenient.

Cons: The location is in the nightlife area, so expecting (very) drunk people on the street if you happened to walk to the hotel at night.

Pros: Cleanliness, small room but very functional, have all in the room you may need, strong flow of shower, very hot like Onsen, located centrally, within walking distance to Nijo fish market.

Cons: No car parking lot at the hotel, but 2 parking lots dealt with the hotel, you could park with fees and a short walk back to hotel, though.

Cons: Reception didn't inform us about how to pay the room cost. We went to our room but we can't access it. Because we have to check-in and pay at kiosk but staff don't inform anything.

Pros: Great location, Quiet, Clean and easy to connect everywhere. Washing machine so good wash and really dry ready to wear again :)

Cons: You have to buy a voucher to watch the movie on the TV should have more international movies with English sound track.

Pros: i understand the triple room i booked that the 3rd bed was consisted by a SOFA bed, but it's better than my expectation. Bathroom is bigger compared to the other hotel we stayed. Good to have a separate bathroom and toilet which good shared by three of us. Room space is bigger than my original expectation. The hotel staff help me to receive my online good orders and even placed it on our room tables accordingly before we checked in.

Cons: Location is slightly far from the transportation(nearest station is Susukino subway, by 6-7mins walking) and the main shopping area, for young people the walking distance still acceptable, but not really for my parents who both above 65. As Susukino is the red light district of the Sapporo, the walking journey back from TanukiKoji shopping area(10-15mins) to the hotel will pass through many of those "special service" shops by both ladies and MB, mainly operating during the night time....not an good idea to bring kids to walk along during night time, so as for solo female traveler.

Cons: room is on the small side. most cases ghe staff is friendly, but hit one not. parking is a bit difficult and expensive.

Pros: location · The hotel was in a great location. Right in Susukino. If you want to have lunch though, most establishments around are closed for lunch and won't open until happy hour. You would have to go nearer the Tanukikoji area. Dinnertime is no problem. All the restaurants and bars are open until early morning. The hotel was very modern and beautiful. Plumbing was excellent, but then, I've never had a problem with plumbing in Japan. The pajamas they provided for each of their guests was a nice touch.

Cons: We had a bit of trouble with the airconditioning. It sounded like it wasn't working so the front desk person came up to fix it but it seemed he didn't know what to do but then said everything was ok. We ended up sweating the first night. The 2nd night, we just opened all our windows and had a good night's sleep because it was still cold outside. The 3rd night, my husband pushed some buttons, (it was all in Japanese so he didnt even know what he was pressing) and the A/C started working. And it got really cold and we slept so well. My guess was the front desk guy just wasn't too familiar with their A/C units. Anyway, the staff was very courteous and helpful. They kept our luggage while we went to the countryside for 2 nights. The hotel room was a little smaller than I expected. We had to move the beds around to make room for our luggage.

Pros: The hotel is new and clean. Location is good, close to Susukino shopping area.

Cons: A little bit walk far from susukino and shopping streets but if you love to walk not too far for you. Bed and facilities in the room quite old but well organized no free bottles of water in the room ( mostly many hotel in Japan not providing for you)

Pros: its near the nakajima koen station. its in susukino area so its lively at night. the staffs are good and very helpful. they can communicate in english very well. the hot spa is a good bonus as it is for free.

Cons: the hot spa has alternating schedule between men and women. it would be better if they have separate hot spa for men and women so no waiting time for your turn. just a thought. but overall its good stay.

Pros: There is a hot spring pool, very comfortable. The location is also close to the subway station, and is very close to the airport shuttle bus stop.

Cons: Although I have seen the photos, the bed is actually smaller than I thought, and it really is not suitable for two people to sleep. If you are coming yourself, it is enough.

Pros: The hotel has an onsen--a Japanese bath--that is delightful.

Cons: Rooms are small, as is usually the case with Japanese hotels. Two people with two twin beds, plus luggage, means not much space to move around in, when inside the room.

Pros: You have the option to deny the cleaning and you’ll get a gift instead. They will still throw away your trash and change the towels; a great deal!

Cons: For a couple, the bed was definitely on the low end. Very uncomfortable. Also very warm room, had to have the widow open to keep the heat down.

Pros: The shower was uniquely cool, with the nice additional touches of bath sponge, shower cap. It was nice to have a separate toilet to bathroom. Offer for free spa was nice, however did not get a chance to use it. Great location for nightclubs and restaurants.

Cons: The mattress was too hard and the pillow was too high and firm. I had a very sore neck as a result.
