We stayed here for 3 nights. Our room is very spacious and clean. It came with a separate bathtub which is such a treat every evening. The bed is very comfortable. Breakfast is great with more than enough variety. Staff and front desk are friendly and welcoming. My wife enjoyed our stay so it is a 10 for me!
Wall lighting in the room. Dimmable switch would help.
The hotel was beautiful, the staff was welcoming, and the food was excellent - we had the breakfast buffet every day and had an excellent dinner at their restaurant. We also enjoyed the sauna and steam room. The hotel is well located and I’d recommend without hesitation.
Our room was lovely, large and quiet- on the side of the building. The location was perfect and only about 4 mins walk from the bus station. The hotel is lovely but you no longer have breakfast in the inside dining room with the lovely traditional Austrian feel.
The hotel was full and breakfast was held in the new front extension which was cramped and manic and didn't have the traditional Austrian feel.
It is pretty, old, restored and well-located.
Half the staff didn’t ever greet us; no one told us we could order eggs for breakfast and when we did they were not sure which egg dish is which (scrambled x poached), no one told us there is sauna, the same went for parking our car was parked by the staff - we were told they would tell us where it would be, but no one ever did so. The reception staff is waiting staff too, so the reception is often empty. The mini bar is on the 3rd floor, which no one told us about either, and despite the climb you still pay minibar prices. The same goes for room service, I had to go downstairs and ask if they could bring food to the room, which they ‘had to check’, yet I was charged full room service price. The WiFi is almost non-existent. When we complained at the staff and the manager with his wife, we were told our claims were untrue and there was nothing wrong on their side and we should find them and ask for things, regardless someone being at the reception or not. Needless to say this isn’t quite a 4 start operation. My mother’s 70th birthday was spoiled because of it and they didn’t even bother to apologise or make a gesture of courtesy. Unless you need to stay in this 600 yr old building for architecture reasons or you like not being served, I would highly discourage you from staying at this establishment.
Very centrally located. Rooms are spacious and clean. Excellent restaurant.
No body lotion provided. Normally this is available in a 4 star. Towels are a bit old. Overall still very nice experience
