Pros:The staff weee very friendly and helpful, location is awesome
Cons:I realize that booking on things like kayak sometimes leaves you with "whatever's left"... but this was silly. I've booked bigger rooms for less money in Manhattan...I killed no less than 10 mosquitos in the room and two huge spiders. The tv never did work, there was some kind of dried white stuff across the length of the floor, which was filthy anyway. My feet were nlacknon the bottom within seconds of getting out of the shower. The shower... that's a whole other situation. It was a little tile box that was barely tall enough to stand up in. The showe head was at my shoulder blades. I am 6 feet tall. Tall, but not extraordinarily so. The water temperature options were scalding hot or ice cold and you don't get a say in what you get or when it's coming. Hopping in and out of the water every few seconds ust trying to wash your hair and body makes for a lengthy shower. There are no "do not disturb signs" and the lack of air conditioning means you sleep with the window open... which, living in Southern California, near the water, for years, I expect... butnits not so relaxing when the garbage men are emptying the dumpster at 6am or there are people PLAYING FLUTES in the courtyard till 2am. Just... go next door and spare yourself.
