Pass unless you are borderline homeless.
Gio was the only bright spot, the other clerks are pretty rude, especially the dirty blond with “f**k you” figuratively tattooed on her face. She’s snotty and I had a justified sense of dread to report an issue with my room.
I did not like: The murder that happened in broad day light a half a block away. The moldy smell from the a/c unit. The roaches on the window and floor. The nasty, moldy carpet (if you are on the lam or have zero standards bring slippers to walk around and shower in). the WiFi that not only craps out every ten minutes, there is a block on certain websites (I ended up tethering because it was more consistent and I could go to any site I wanted). Speaking of cell reception all phone carriers have problems if more than five feet from the door or window, so you can leave the window/door open, but that invites all the bugs in San Diego. Now the refrigerator! It clunked out the second day and the remedy? “Unplug it and plug it into another socket.” That did not work, but the fourth socket, probably the only one that still worked, was alright until the fourth day. The maintenance person looks like one of the vagrants that lives around Pt. Loma, so don’t be alarmed if something breaks and a beggar comes to your door to fix it: unprofessional is an understatement. The walls are super thin, I got to hear three different neighbors have intercourse, which was great, especially at 4am.
Not so "sweet" at this suite
Room did not look like it was kept up. Cracked shower stall. Towels felt like sand paper. No coffee in room.
No toilet paper . And I booked a king bed , they gave me a queen . The rooms where separated with a door .
Nudie club across the street
Bed was comfortable
Old building, nude businesses nearby
Great staff nothing bad about this little hotel
Other guests seem higher class then nearby hotels. Working or busy people that come back at night. No partying drinking weed tinsel with.
its in the hood
i will never tell anyone to stay there. it was load and annoying and i am petty sure the room next store was a hooker. i could hear her night visitors all night. i wanted to get a night of sleep away from the roommates. i should of just stayed home. i left early in the morning because i didn't feel safe there.
Staff was responsive and friendly. For basic economy lodgings, it was fine and I had a good night's sleep.
Electricity went out in my room around midnight. I was sitting in the dark. A circuit breaker had obviously tripped when I turned on the light over the bed. Called front desk. No answer. Walked down to office. Man behind the desk who checked me in saw to the problem immediately and I had the electricity back on in short order. Also, be aware that they put a $100 hold on my credit card, which was released immediately without problem on check out, assuming I hadn't smoked or had pets in the room. There were a lot of cigarette butts in the ashtray at the bottom of the stairway that hadn't been emptied or swept from the stairs.
Not being negative, actually rooms were clean . But
we were just surprised and should have done our homework. Not the type of place to go with a family, single people or guys trips ok butnot kids. It reminds you of a seedy motel, across the street from a strip club, nit a nice neighborhood. If yoy're ik with all that , then its not bad.
Great for the the price. Has everything needed if you're just going for a one night stay. Beds were clean as well as the bathroom. Planning on staying for another night now.
Pillows were kind of flat. TV slightly outdated.
Not much. Gave us a new room when we asked for one because there were roaches in our first room...
Hair on the towels when we checked in, roaches in our room, staff was not very friendly and seemed bored or bothered when we needed to talk to them. We booked a king sized bed and they gave us a double, so we got the wrong room as well. Breakfast was just muffins and danishes and coffee. Really basic cheap food.
Es war sauber.. Und ein günstiger preis. Das Bett ist gut.
Das Personal ist unfreundlich. Ungünstig Lage zum centrum. Es ist sehr laut
Good deal for the price :)
Great location, clean room, extremely friendly staff (Alberto was great), nice pool & hot tub. I would definitely stay again based on price.
