For the money was nice
I stayed for 6 days with my 2 kids 9,11 years old. Was there to visit my wife who graduated from the Airforce. Was very close to the base and staff was very friendly. The room was ok. Never had a problem withat towels or house keeping issues, they we great. The only minus was the mattresses seemed older and the breakfast was not the greatest, no hot foods, except instant oatmeal and it ended at 9am. All and all for the money, was worth staying. Was extremely close to the base and served our purposes great.
Location - and that's about it.
Very close to Lackland AFB. Nice, attached Mexican restaurant - good food, great prices. Clean rooms.
Extremely "dated". Hot tub - not so hot. Your BASIC accommodations.
Only one problem
The room was great to begin with! We were having a great time, clean room until we found bed bugs! The breakfast wasn't the best selection but it works!
The bed bugs we found! That is really nasty!
I love the convenience of this place to my relative house. It was extremely convenient and very inexpensive.
However everything has its downsides, as soon as we woke up, the staff was asking us to leave,"You guys are still here? " with a very bad attitude. I had to pay extra money for 2 more hours.
Visiting Lackland AFB
I liked how it was very close to the base so I could visit my girlfriend without having to drive very far
The only issue I had was that I had called to make a pre-paid reservation and the card I had placed on file was never charged so I had to make a surprise payment when I though i had already did.
Clean place with Wi-Fi, microwave, refrigerator, c
At least 50 cable channels if I recall correctly. Wi-Fi worked well and I took advantage of the refrigerator and microwave The bed was made every day. I don't drink coffee but the room has its own coffee maker. It was close to Lackland AFB. It's located on a highway that is not heavily used and is just outside the entrance to a neighborhood. It was quiet. The price was very good and I would stay here again if I visit Lackland AFB.
Let me point out that the pool is clean but modest in size and that the continental breakfast area practically gives you no place to eat. There was an issue with the stopper in the bathroom sink not working and when I went to use their PC by the front desk so that I could print a boarding pass, I was told that the printer didn't work. There are no restaurants within walking distance and the rooms open to the outside, in case that matters to you.
Location close to Lackland AFB, beds were comfortable unlike most hotel beds, hotel staff was very friendly, beds were made daily, room was clean, has a Continental breakfast with cereals and packaged danish pastries and such so if you want to save money of breakfast at least you have that option.
Comforter had a stain on it and not sure what it was. The stain could have been set in but I wasn't checking. You could hear people stomping around upstairs but it was not super loud. I am not a light sleep and it did not hinder me from sleeping.
