10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a great stay here. The room is spacious and nicely decorated. Lots of choice for breakfast, many different types of bread, scrambled eggs, pastries, fruit, cereals etc. For the gym enthusiasts: the gym is very well equipped, there is cardio equipment, loose weights (dumbbells and barbells) and several strength training machines. There is a squat rack, bench press, incline bench, Smith machine, assisted pull-up machine and many more. All I needed for my training regime was available. The pool is nice as well. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Our car was parked for us.

Pros: The rooms were big, clean, and provided all the necessary facilities. Breakfast was good, same goes for the evening dinner. Car was handled by the valid parking. Check in/out was smooth and fast. Welcoming drink was a plus.
Cons: Literally the only thing we can come up with is the irritating elevator noise. It makes a sort of high tone when you cross the detector on the side, which can be heard from the room. Minor detail compared to the good quality of this hotel. Would recommend to anyone!

7.5 Good
Pros: Good location and access to jacuzzi, sauna and laundry (very convenient)
Cons: Not very well maintained and staff not particularly welcoming.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Good location. Very quiet except for a dog in the neighbourhood that wanted to howl into wee hours of the morning. Good size room and provided most amenities that were needed. Lots of good restaurants nearby. Staff were very good and provided any information when needed.
Cons: Not much. Good place for the money paid. Elevator was annoying as it had to beep at almost every floor.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast delivered to room exactly on time - not exceptional content in international terms but usual for Argentina, and perfectly adequate. Location is very good, being close walking distance to the centre but on a quiet street. Also close to various good restaurants. Staff excellent - not english speakers but we got along perfectly well, and obliging at every stage, and time of day. Beds and pillows excellent for good night's sleep, shower and bathroom fine, room enough in suite to spread out as needed. Underground garage is very useful and secure but a "white knuckle ride" down into it and particularly getting out up the steep ramp - but great story to tell when you get home.
Cons: Nothing - good value for money, good location, facilities and people. Would definitely recommend.

Pros: The area was quiet. There was a relaxing feel to the hotel and staff couldn’t do enough to help in any way. Our room had a view of the outside pool and mountains, a balcony overlooking and jacuzzi bath which I would recommend. Definitely stay again if in the area.
9.2 Excellent

Cons: The location is very quiet with nice Mountain views but is far from town which very much limits dinner options since there isn’t a restaurant on site.
7.9 Good
Pros: Unbelievably helpful and friendly staff. Beautiful facilities and location
Cons: It was our last night in Argentina and we were hoping for some rest but our room was literally right under the stairs to the breakfast room which opened at 6:30! Needless to say we didn’t get very good sleep.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Luxe boutique hotel. Small and really beautifull. Very good bed and bathroom nice pool! And good vieuws over Salta. The staff was very helpfull. Before we came they contact us about a restaurant on christmas eve because nearly everything is closed than. They arranged a really nice Argentinian restaurant for us ( viego Jack II). Also they helped with the car rental.
Cons: A little touch of personal christmas athmosfere, because they say: a home away from home. Say a small drink for the guests on christmas eve or a smal christmas touch with the breakfast. There were no coffee or tea facilities in the room or in the living room.

6.7 Good
Pros: The patio and bathroom were wonderful. The boutique nature of the hotel was great
Cons: The staff was poorly trained and couldn’t answer basic questions. One person at reception didn’t even know that one of the most popular music venues was closed on Mondays. The taxi driver had to tell us. I emailed the property twice before arriving and they never responded The common areas such as doors, stairwell and carpet weren’t clean. Our room was in need of more thorough cleaning.
8.3 Excellent

8.3 Excellent
Pros: The decoration
Cons: You can hear every noise from other guests out in the corridors and there was a noise at night of some machine going on and off.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Charming and beautifully decorated rooms, adequate for our needs and well presented. Bathroom is a good size with a good walk-in shower. The hotel itself is elegant and true to its boutique description with a cosy reception area and a lovely little garden at the back. Fantastic location, very close to the San Francisco Church and 5mins walk from Plaza 9 De Julio. Good quality continental breakfast providing breads / cereals / pastries. Close to amenities including restaurants (El Charrua / La Posada) as well as artisanal outlets. There is a also a great spot for coffee (The Coffee Store) on the corner.
Cons: Hotel does not have a lift, but only one floor, so should be reasonably manageable for most. Selection at breakfast a little limited and no cooked options such as eggs / sausages. There is only one member of staff on duty during that morning period, so service can be a little slow.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Good front desk staff. Great potential as a boutique hotel. However, the quality of the rooms are not as the images show. They have gotten old and need repairs.
Cons: Breakfast was a disaster. They didn’t tell us or offer eggs. Later I found that they made eggs for people who asked. That is terrible. The food itself was all stale carbohydrates.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Interior design was stunning / staff kind and accommodating / perfect location / a must stay in Salta
8.0 Excellent

Pros: The first room we had (room 9) was beautifully decorated and very spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good but lacked choice.
Cons: The only thing i didn't like was the noise at night. We were kept awake all night by a machine (possibly external air conditioning) switching on and off all night. The staff were very helpful and moved us to a quieter room the next day. Unfortunately the new room wasn't as nicely decorated as the first.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location Building is very nicely decorated Staff was super friendly, helpful and very much accommodating all our requests
Cons: In the room 10 there was an annoying water pump sound going on all day and a half of the night which made it difficult to sleep
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location is excellent, and so the decoration/environment which looks very original
Cons: The aircon was not good to warm up the room, so it was quite cold (in mid winter) and it was noisy.

Pros: House of Jasmines is an estancia in the outskirts of Salta providing guests with peace and tranquility during their stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful, speaking English, French and Spanish and maybe other languages that I am unaware of. Our suite was very comfortable, looking out over a beautiful garden setting. The king-size bed was also very comfortable. The meals and wine in the restaurant were excellent as was the service from the staff. During our 5-night stay, there was live music on 2 nights -Jazz and folkloric. We enjoyed a great massage with Rosia and Gloria in the Spa, which is well appointed and clean.
7.5 Good
Pros: Very nice & relaxing location in the green fields around Salta. Nice & courteous service. Nice Breakfast display & food. Nice Wines List.
Cons: The Swimming pool would need some more shadows & decorations around it, as well as sun beds to relax. So difficult to get a detailed bill upon check-out. The SPA is not within the Hotel main facilities, and quite far to reach. You can not go there in your bathrobe. Almost need a car transportation.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff is kind and helpful. The apartments are really nice and properly cleaned every day.
Cons: I have experienced issues with the heater, which I suddenly could not switch off and made the room very hot during the night. When I reported this, the central heating has been switch off, but the night later it was on again. Wi-Fi might stop working for a while. It seems to be a problem with the provider and not with the hotel. Some savoury for breakfast would be nice.

Pros: Nice very spacious room with large windows which on the 5th floor gave a sweeping view of the city. The room was very clean and had good seating and great counter space. This is a modern hotel. It featured fantastic local artworks which were displayed in the lobby and dining room. Breakfast was very good. The staff were very helpful in making arrangements for excursions and great restaurant recommendations. The location was perfect, walking distance to most places we visited. An enjoyable experience.
Cons: The glass shower in the bathroom did not enclose properly and there was much water on the floor after use. There was quite a wait for the hot water to come on.

Pros: Perfect. The room is amazing , super clean
Cons: I was supposed to get 21% tax back . Never got it. Pay attention when you pay.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff at the front desk were amazing and helpful. The rooms are good size and decent views if you look beyond the square immediately in front of the hotel.
Cons: My room smelled musty and damp which impacted my allergies and asthma. Unfortunately the neighborhood is pretty loud on the weekends, no fault of the hotel of course. The breakfast is just ok but the restaurant is pretty.

Pros: Great location, good room, reception and housekeeping were excellent. Hotel had some character too.
Cons: Wifi was patchy and often slow. Breakfast - the only healthy or tasty part was the fruit salad, the rest was poor. Breakfast service was patchy and forgetful, and the staff seemed to have a very limited amount of cheap cutlery at hand.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A lovely gentleman in a nice suit greeted me with a warm welcome to the hotel and the city. He had my heavy bag taken up to my room for me. I had a lovely large room with a balcony. The hotel is gorgeous. Just a lovely historic building, with a beautifully decorated lounge with a piano and computers for free use. Pros: Cosy, homely like place just a few minutes from the airport. Nice people, home made food. Situated near to the airport but calm with a beautiful garden and a big swimming pool ! We stayed in a cosy bungalow of a very good size only for over night but this place looks like a real nice & practical place to stay for longer time as the bungalow have also a kitchen corner...

Pros: Check in check out very easy Very very sympathetic and pleasant lady owner She is nice and welcoming Restaurant and breakfast are good Bid bedroom with bathroom ensuite
Cons: Water leaking on the floor through WC and sink Cleaning is to be improved : hair in the bathtub and bugs in the bathroom Location is not very entertaining : on the side of national road, not very many things to do
9.2 Excellent
Pros: We chose this location near the airport because we hired a car for pick up at the airport next morning. The communications from the hosts were good prior our arrival. They were very flexible to cater our late arrival. Our checked baggages did not arrive with us, and by the time we completed all the paper work at the airport, it was too late to go into town to get dinner. Luckily, when we got to the posada past 22h45, the host's son was cooking an Asado with friends, and he was so kind to invite us! We were so hungry and grateful, and the Asado was one of the best we had! We then retired in our large room, which had a nice bed for us to sleep on. Next morning, the host herself helped us communicate with the airlines for our delay baggages (we had 2 bags that arrived in separate planes and one was split open...), as well as calling us a taxi to get back to the airport. The posada was not one of those fancy buildings in Salta town, but it had everything you need at a fraction of the cost. More importantly, the hosts showed us what true hospitality is all about! When one is away from home and facing mishaps, it is people like Beatriz and Gabriel who make the big difference! Thank you very much for making our journey a little less painful!
Cons: There was nothing we didn't like.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful house with interesting communal spaces, lovely bedrooms, all perfectly clean and with a homely feel. A fabulous garden with a fantastic view and lots of birds visiting. Meals are available, we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. Super convenient for the airport but still feels like you’re staying in the countryside. We were made to feel very welcome and really enjoyed our stay!
7.9 Good
Pros: The place is beautiful and perfect to relax
Cons: No WiFi in the bungalows and in general not a good signal around the property
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location with a super host. Spacious room, great value for money in a quiet location close to the airport. Highly recommended
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful courtyard, porch and pool area, lots of grass and trees with a nice breeze for an evening meal outside. Staff was very accommodating. Dinner was cooked individually for us and was very good.
Cons: Pool chairs were old and dirty--and there weren't many. Closet in room smelled musty. Bedding was tired and old.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful landhouse with a big garden an very friendly staff. Owner speaks french and english. For us a small paradise to relax after a long flight.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very helpful staff, especially with making sure I made it to the airport for very early flight. Also the option to have dinner there was nice. Pleasant natural setting with a pool and proximity to the airport was a positive.
Cons: Not many electrical outlets and bath area somewhat dated

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hotel! Great value for money. The jacuzzi was amazing. It’s conveniently located next to Balcarce and tren de las nubes. The reception and restaurant staff were super nice!
Cons: No window facing the street
8.3 Excellent
Pros: roof top terrace with jacuzzis, spacy duplex room. The hotel is situated in front of the train station for the ‘tren a las nubes’. Nearby street with pubs an restaurants. Even if you have a car, take a taxi to go to the centre, it’s cheap and convenient
Cons: We first got a standard double room, which was very small and dark. Moreover, between that room and the adjacent one was a (closed) door that was anything but soundproof. We requested a more spacious and quieter room and could move to a "duplex" the next day. That worked out fine and from then on our stay did meet our expectations
6.7 Good
Pros: price relatioship quality is ok
Cons: Breakfast is very poor and not healthy. Rooms are small.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very helpful staff Terrace overlooking the city Good breakfast
Cons: Bathroom needs an update
7.5 Good
Pros: Small boutique hotel 1.5km out of the main town centre. Secure. 24 hour desk attendant. Easy to walk to town. Quiet and safe neighbourhood. Nice and neat hotel, very nice staff, very little English spoken (great for me as I was learning Spanish). Worth visiting Salta for 3 days. Beautiful little Spanish colonial town.
Cons: There were renovations at the hotel (to fix the water I think) so very noisy for a day. The shower water took forever to go warm (like 10 minutes).

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Nice place, well located, clean and confortable
6.7 Good
Pros: We made a mistake with our reservation dates, but the host was reeeeeally cooperative and friendly and didn't charge anything extra - so nice.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Building and garden looked very cute
Cons: Location is just to far from plaza 9 de Julio to walk. You need a taxi for everything. Room was ok, however the bathroom circulation was very bad. The ceiling was full with molt. And the door couldn’t close. Staff was not very he lpful (something went wrong with the pick-up for our tour and we needed to ask 3 times if they please could call the touroperator. Also no other suggestions to help us) Breakfast was very basic, no healthy option (no fruit at all or some yoghurt) only sugar based product (marmelade, dulce de leche)
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very cosy hostel with nice garden to chill and breakfast with home made bread an cake.
Cons: Just a detail: Could have more shelf space for clothes an bag.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely staff - very accommodating. Stayed in two different rooms - having had to return as a result of a bus strike, although it would have been nice to have been pre-warned about that in advance. The first room was en-suite, which I liked; the second room was bigger - and better equipped with a wardrobe space, a bedside lamp and bedside socket - with a separate bathroom but as there were not many people using the bathroom it worked out fine. Really nice decor throughout, a lovely garden out front and a terrace at the top but not quite the season for that!
Cons: The bed in the first room was too big for the room which meant there was no where to put anything (luggage) on the floor. There were no shelves, no hanging space and only one hook, so everything had to stay on the floor. There were two sockets by the bed, but only one worked so you had to choose between a reading lamp or charging the phone. The shower did not have a curtain - which would have been fine except that the water went all over the floor - a squeeze mop would have been useful to mop away all the excess water which could never drain.
7.5 Good
Pros: Decoration
Cons: It didnt have enough plugs to plug in your phone in the bedroom.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The beds are amazing! Best bed I’ve had for 4 months in South America. Beakfast good with cake :) Staff very friendly and helpful
Cons: Wifi didn’t reach the room most of the time.
4.2 Okay
Pros: Nice and friendly staff. Big house with a lovely garden, great breakfast and reception.
Cons: Dirty and damp rooms and far away to the town. They don’t change the bar soap. The towel and bed sheets were dirty. The toilet doors are very old it doesn’t close or lock. The entrance of the hostel is really nice but inside is old, damp and dirty.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Always willing to answer questions etc. The food was good value and tasty. Comfortable rooms and beds. Nice atmosphere and plenty of places to relax and chill out. Large kitchen.
Cons: You must pay the 21% VAT here, which you normally do not as a foreigner tourist. This is because the hostel owner is registered as a Monotributista business. It increases the cost a lot. The breakfast could have had more options. No ceareals, and only had fruit one day out of five. Only options are cake or bread. The kitchen is not well stocked with utensils or plates etc.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Basic hostel but a comfortable bed and very clean room/bathroom. Marcelo was so friendly and helped us with recommendations and booking a taxi to the airport for us. Great WiFi and nice hot showers! Great value for money
Cons: Walls very thin so can hear everything happening in the rooms next to you! Also a 10 min walk from the main plaza and not much around the hostel
7.9 Good
Pros: Booked at late notice and arrived around midnight - manager/owner was very friendly and helpful. Wifi worked well
Cons: Bathrooms were cramped
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: The owner tried to make us pay the 21% tax and then also used a higher conversion rate from dollars to pesos. When we questioned this he got very defensive and this quickly escalated to him getting very aggressive and telling us we had to leave?! If you stay here you should not pay the tax as a foreigner even when paying cash, we have looked into this and it is not correct. The whole place stinks of cigarette smoke which the owner tries to cover up by burning incense, which just smells gross. It’s very noisy at night and early morning as you can hear everything from the rooms next door due to the thin roof and walls. Beds very uncomfortable with old saggy mattresses. Ironically for a hostel named ‘Namaste’ we had a very stressful and unrelaxing stay.
7.9 Good
Pros: Really nice owner
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A great deal, the hostel was really clean, hot water and really comfortable beds. The owner was really friendly, we arrived late the first night, he gave us a a warm welcome and made us feel right at home. Really good location, walking distance to everywhere - would highly recommend.
Cons: Breakfast isn't included
7.5 Good
Pros: We stayed one night. Marcelo the host was fantastic, open and friendly. He gave us a great recommendation for a local parilla. And to top it off we were going to the rugby game and as he was also going, he kindly offered us a lift to & from the game! The facilities are simple but nice and quiet at night and there is a garden that gets lovely morning sun. Great value.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Good value for money, manager was very helpful .
7.9 Good
Pros: Very friendly owner and staff.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: good location and really friendly staff. there is everything you need, a kitchen, hot showers and enough shared bathrooms and good working wifi. perfect for the price you pay
Cons: furniture and equipment all a bit old (but still working) and floors could be a little bit cleaner
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff are very helpful and friendly. We arrived after a very stressful journey from Buenos Aires and we were greeted by Marcelo. He took the time to show us around the hostel and then sat us down with a map and showed us the different things to do around Salta. The hostel has 4 bathrooms with showers, which are clean and have hot water! There is also a kitchen to cook your own food with utensils such as plates, cutlery, pots/pans etc. The beds had about 4 covers which was great because it was quite cold at night.
Cons: Not very social unless you happened to bump into someone in the kitchen.
