First of all, I’d like to say how helpful and kind were the stuff! Got an upgrade, stay at recently renewed room, it was absolutely wonderful! Great breakfast, it was included in out room rate, i suggest to have it included, it’s totally worth it. Concierge gave us many great recommendations for the restaurants, and helped as with bookings. If you visit the city by foot like we do, you should know it’s located a bit far away from some places, didn’t bother us at all. It’s Rome, it’s big and takes time to get to the attractions. I won’t even put it in the “didn’t like”
Even after writing beforehand and double checking with every member of the staff that we only eat gluten free, we found out on the 3rd day of our stay that our 5yo daughter was given gluten contaminated ham. We go to great lengths to follow a strict diet since she is celiac and having her get contaminated completely ruined our holiday. Weirdly, the hotel manager tried to convince us that the ham was ok, after the chef had told us it was not...??? To add insult to injury, my card was billed twice!
The staff was fantastic and gave great suggestions for dinner every night. Will definitely stay here again when I get back to Rome.
Only 2 issues. My mini bar was not restocked daily and I would call and not done in timely fashion. My last morning there I had the privacy light in but the maid came in twice waking me up. The gentleman at the front desk made up for it by paying for my bar tab.
Absolutely beautiful hotel! From the elegant lobby to the pristine rooms, it was easy to fall in love with the St. Regis. Staff was so incredibly warm and welcoming too, not to mention providing top service. Will definitely be back!
Our room was a little noisy early in the morning. It sounded like hammering above us? Not sure.
Luxorious interiors with high ceilings and beautiful wall panels. Rooms are spacious with good lighting and everything you need is provided in the room and bathroom. The building is 100+ years old with history, excellent butler service and great 7:30 pm celebration in the lobby bar every night.
