The room for 4 was perfect for the 2 nights we needed to tour Rome before we headed on a cruise!! It was fun to stay in a neighborhood setting vs a big hotel in the center of Rome... it was very clean and comfortable. Luciano was very welcoming and helpful!!
It was slightly further away from the attractions we were touring on this trip... also not easy to get a taxi by just walking out the door... Luciano was very helpful calling us them when we needed one, or the train was a short walk away for those that are comfortable using the subway.
Our host Luciano was so helpful and very friendly. The location is perfect for exploring Rome
The location was great for Stadio Olimpico and the rugby match. The building was authentic, the host was very friendly and helpful, breakfast was good and there was actual tea that tasted like tea, thank you for that alone. We were very happy with our stay and would choose to stay again.
Luciano is warm, friendly and helpful, as is the sweet woman who cleans. He speaks some English. He arranged a perfect pick-up from the airport for us. We enjoyed fresh pastries and coffee delivered to our room in the morning. Good coffee pod machine in the room. There's a tram stop about a block away. Quiet neighborhood. Nice, multi-use building (though it's not much to look at from the outside) with a charming old cage-style elevator. If felt much more like having an apartment then just a room for a few nights. We felt right at home.
Not many places to eat and drink close to the room. We're older folks and not up to walking long distances.
I can't say I liked something. The only thing they did good was they offered their parking place so I could park my car. I insisted to be given a place when was there and wanted to park my car. The advertisement says "Free parking available....".
I liked almost nothing.... - no dining room to have breakfast normally. You are asked to fill a form (kind of menu) by choosing what you want, they prepare and bring into your room. In the room there is a very very small table which can fit 2 plates and 2 cups, nothing more. We had to bring a chair to put food on it to have more space. - when we made our selection the treatment was bad, the man behaved like "What do you want from me.... please select something and I'll bring to your room....". We didn't have something written in English so we needed to understand one or another item in the list represented and the conversation was terrible.... - none of the serving people spoke well English, They spoke Spanish to us when we spoke English and it was clear we hardly understood each other. - In the bath room there is a pump which makes a stupid and unpleasant noise whenever you use water (shower, wc, etc.) What you see on the images is far from the reality. It was very disappointing for us to get into an apartment rated 9.5 by visitors and getting that bad experience.... We've been very surprised and asking how people rated this apartment and service so high as it obviously doesn't deserve higher than 4 really.
