- Friendly staff. - Excellent location. - Great breakfast. - Comfy bed. - Great value.
I liked the neighborhood quite a lot, the bathtub would have been great if the bathroom didn’t smell like sewage like another reviewer pointed out
The reviews and photos are quite misleading as this is not a proper hotel but a few rooms on a second floor of an office building with a manager who is only there during the day. The photos look quite nice and it appears you are staying in a staffed hotel, but there is in fact no “restaurant” or “bar” really— the two members of staff are there only during the day. The bathroom plumbing made the room smell like sewage, which was not ideal. You can hear your neighbors through the wall quite easily which is a bummer if one of them is a screaming toddler or a big party of people drinking and blasting music till 2:30 am (which I had.) However, my main HUGE complaint about this place was that when I was getting ready to leave for the airport I realized my passport had been stolen from my room. Impossible to say who it was/ if it was hotel staff, BUT not only was I made to feel MORE stressed by the manager who did not try to help point me in any direction of what I needed to do or offer much sympathy but immediately got defensive and was blaming me for misplacing it, and an hour later he forced me to pay for the cab he had arranged to the airport — 60 euro!!!! 10 more than he said it would be to begin with and when I argued about it he was very rude. Zero compassion, he should have cancelled the cab in the hour before as obviously I wasn’t going to the airport. I left with a horrible taste in my mouth feeling extorted to pay his cab driver buddy while going through the shock of traveling alone and finding my passport gone. Gladly checked in somewhere much nicer and would NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN.
Everything!!! I really enjoyed the host and the story associated with Inn. We will be back!
I loved the location and the welcoming nature of the establishment. Very high quality products and breakfast.
The property is in a quiet part of Rome surrounded by five stat hotels and embassies. We were warmly welcomed by Nelson who did everything to make our stay memorable. We were thrilled with the comfortable bed and excellent shower, the best of our one month stay. Breakfast was more than adequate. Rome is an incredibly busy city so if you want to enjoy it get up early to avoid the crowds which can be overwhelming. Book restaurants and attractions well in advance, we were disappointed that all the restaurants on our list were booked out during our 5 night stay. An early morning walk in the Borghese gardens is a great way to start the day. It’s also worth mentioning that because of the crowded streets allow more time to get to your destination, for instance it took us 40 minutes to walk to Piazza Navona during the afternoon but only twenty minutes early in the morning.
We were slightly disappointed that there was an extra charge for fresh orange juice 2.5€ and 1€ for extra water and there were only 2 coffee pods in our room which is not an issue if you are only staying 1 night, to be fair we didn’t ask for extra pods but after a month of extremely generous hospitality it just seemed odd. If you want to watch Netflix you need to use your own account something else we have not encountered before. It was a jarring note to an otherwise memorable stay.
As we heard, breakfast was amazing. They provided home made bread, pies and fresh fruits from their own farm. The host was really kind. The room quality was not bad. The neighborhood was clean and safe as there were lots of luxury hotels near.
It was difficult to find the hotel. The others were great!
