Everything about this hotel was wonderful! Simona gave wonderful recommendations for restaurants and things to see. The food was delicious and the rooms were quiet. We will definitely be returning.
A longer stay
The breakfast buffet was terrific for the money and quality--something for everyone--scrambled eggs & bacon/ham, potatoes, etc. Yogurt, granola & antioxidants incl. shots. Green salad --add your own tomatoes, cucumber, turkey, cheese, sunflower seeds, etc. + fruit, cappuccino, etc. I don't think anyone minded that I made myself a turkey & cheese sandwich to eat at lunchtime while touring the city.
One of the staff sold me a ticket on a mediocre hop-on/hop-off service--the Green Line. See my review on Trip Advisor. They also sold me an overpriced cab ride to the airport. Keep in mind that it's a fixed fee of 48 Euro.
Location was great. Just a short distance to some of the major attractions and eating.
The staff could have been better. Not as friendly or helpful as I would have hoped for but it didn't change our overall good time in Rome.
Great location, close to Saint Peters and a quiet location without street noise.I liked the American style breakfast that was included in the room price.
The bed was a bit hard
Staff was particularly friendly. They made certain I was well informed if I needed more clarification on directions within Rome, as well as other items. Customer service was fantastic. Modern looking hotel with ample amenities.
The air conditioner made quite a bit of noise on my final day here and eventually stopped blowing cold air altogether. Since it was my last day at the hotel, I figure I'd not pay much attention to it and go out sight seeing. Still made for an uncomfortable evening however.
The hotel is of a modern style in a very good location and the room was quite spacious and well decorated. The breakfast was great and the staff very professional and helpful. I could not find anything negative about this hotel and I would strongly recommend it. It a an excellent value for the money.
Nothing.
This is a beautifully updated hotel just blocks from the metro (Lepanto), a seven minute walk to the Vatican. One metro stop puts you at the top of the Corso, two stops at th Spanish stepds and three at the Trevi Fountain. The Spaniosh steps stop (Spagna) is in close proximity to the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, numerous shops and some of the best gelato around. The hotel staff are accommodating and personal. The rooms and bathrooms are spotless and offer almost any amenity. I have stayed here five times (after staying at some rather expensive hotels in Rome which were very disappointing.
That it took me so long to find this gem of a hotel.
Fourth time we stayed there. Close to metro, just a short walk from Vatican, friendly staff, great rooms and bathrooms, totally up-to-date features all combine to make this the best hotel we have ever stayed at in Rome. We will continue to return here.
That it took so long to find a hotel this nice in Rome.
