The location was very private and not touristy at all. The girls at reception were extremely helpful
The external click clack of heels going to the lobby bathroom can be very loud when a birthday celebration is happening - which was our case. I would carpet the marble floor to sound proof this and of course let your guests know well in advance when a party will be happening-not on the same day before our early departure. Otherwise the hotel is divine
Breakfast was basic and the same every day. Items were often missing and never replaced. There is no dedicated staff for breakfast. The receptionist must dodge back and forth from front desk duties to keep up the food and make coffees. Some of the staff were helpful and pleasant, others were grumpy.
Rooms are small for the price. Plug in the bathroom tub didn't seal so my partner could not take a bath. Neighborhood dogs bark incessantly day and night and it's impossible to get any peace. I'm surprised the ownership of the hotel has not confronted these dog owners. It's theoretically a nice, quiet neighborhood, but in fact it's noisy for this reason.
Hotel is beautiful, small and very quiet. Room was wonderful, private elevator for our room with our own roof top terrace Lovely full marble bathroom, amazing views over the hills of Rome and a treat, powered window blinds controlled from your bed. Staff were exceptional, all spoke English and gave us invaluable local information on restaurants, transportation and sightseeing. Breakfast was lovely with home made tarts and fruit loaves, and much more, in a beautiful setting. Would hesitate to stay here again.
The staff was amazing and the best we had by far through the 4 cities we stayed in. They took their time to explain the bus/tram routes, got us transportation when we needed it and took care of any issues that arose. Thank you to the staff for making our trip that much better!!
Really no complaints other than it took a little bit to get back at night because the buses don’t run as regular.
Friendly and very helpful staff who went the extra mile to make our stay a very pleasant experience.
