Rishīkesh resorts

Pros: Our driver, Sonu, who picked us up from the airport and dropped us off was great.

Cons: There was no wifi for our whole stay - they claimed they were looking into it, but received no updates and I had to constantly chase. I later learned the wifi has never worked in the apartments and it was patchy in the rest of the hotel. The apartment had a stale/damp smell. The TV flickered on/off constantly (and this wasn't due to the power outages, which we expected). Hot water lasted for a few minutes in one of the rooms, and escaped from the taps in the other room while you showered if you don't hold the tap! Rooms are old, dated and need maintaining. I did not know Rishikesh is an alcohol-free and vegetarian area, until I reached the hotel - this is not clear from the description.

Cons: River facing property but few rooms with a view.

Pros: The resort is very comfortable. We went with a toddler and made everything very easy. They would arrange taxis for us to move around at a very low price (less than £2) and food was available at all times. Very importantly, not spicy food was available. Pasta and pizza sort of thing. We even used the laundry service and it was not expensive at all.

Cons: The pool is not working, it is on maintenance.

Pros: The hospitality was excellent. Specially at front desk, a very helpful team.Vandana and Pravesh made our stay very comfortable. The restaurant was excellent. Sukhdev, Minoti and chef Manoj. 5 stars to them. I would likely visit again.

Pros: Excellent location. Room was very comfortable. Lovely restaurant. Food was fabulous. The staff very nice and friendly. Thank you to the reception staff for your help with my travel arrangements. I would recommend this hotel and would return.

Pros: Apart from the billing process there was nothing that could be liked.

Cons: NO play area for Kids, asked for RO water which was not working and mineral water bottle costly very limited food option when asked for more they us the menu which the chef never knew how to prepare asked for tea and coffee maker in the room as the same was not there to it they gave a very strange excuse that since people started making Maggie in the hence they stopped putting the same in the room no near by eating area on the way with 24 hours running traffic it was like we were caged in a room we took two rooms. in one room the AC was faulty after many requests the same was corrected also the name mentioned was of Resort rather it was a Hotel not a resort, was really disappointed by the choice made.

Pros: New property and rooms were very big. It’s clean and ample furnitures provided. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Good location for river rafting but we were not interested.

Cons: No mirror in the room and the one in bath room is small. location is Little away from Rishikesh and had to pay about Rs 2,500 for taxi to and from Rishikesh
