Good location near the Sea, good breakfast and a good value for money
On the main strip in Miramare just one road back from the beach which is only two minutes away. My room, 101 was very small for a double but being on my own it was fine. The bathroom was ok with shower. Breakfast was good with lots of choice. The underground garage, which is behind the hotel is a bit tight to enter, I had a small SUV and just made it with a bit of shuffling back and forth. Overall I enjoyed my stay in Miramare, it's a lot more relaxed than the main town.
More of a business atmosphere than a holiday hotel.
I liked the hotel because the room was clean, tidy and had a italian television, excellent private toilet/shower, The hotel had air conditioning and a reception and lounge with comfortable white sofas and a large television in the lounge area with sky television. We were given lots to eat at breakfast. There was an amazing choice. Cereal, croissants with butter and honey; pineapple, orange or carrot juice; a slice of ham and cheese, boiled eggs; a yoghurt and a healthy selection of fruit e.g. you could have 2 or 3 pieces of fruit from apples, peaches, apricots, kiwi fruit and pears. Cappucino, tea or an filter coffee The beach are well
everything was good. The sun was hot 80 F for 12 days in June.
Its cheap and close to beach
We had to change rooms 3 times because our AC was not working (and I mean it was not even blowing cool air). Our first room was beautiful with a great view but it was unbearably hot. We talked to the front desk and they eventually switched us to another room which was smaller due to having and extra bed and had no view. The room was still just as hot. After talking to the front desk again they said that it takes a while for the room to cool off and to wait... so we went to the beach and then dinner. Came back at least 3 hours later and the room was hotter than it was outside! Went back down to the desk again and talked to the clerk, who was clearly frustrated having to deal with us again and not knowing what to do. My husband suggested we move to another floor, they said it probably wouldn't work but he moved us anyway. Room was still smaller with a somehow worse view but at least the AC worked. The next day the same clerk told us the whole floors AC was not working (at least I know I wasn't being crazy) Not to mention the breakfast was a disappointment. We saw pics of pancake/crapes but but there wasn't any when we went down. Everything else was plain.
Overall ok hotel on nice location, but nothing special. Great breakfast.
Garage is in a separate building behind hotel. Lights did not work in one of the rooms. One of the recepcionists was not very good with English.
