Super cool that property
Some mosquito around
Host very helpful and nice to talking to her .
Very clean very calm room very spaces
The breakfast was great, a good variety of items to choose from. The surrounding property is absolutely beautiful, close to the lake and a lovely waterfall. Our room was basic, no TV but clean.
The sheets and towels were washed in a highly scented product. If you have fragrance allergies it may be worth mentioning when booking. The array of restaurants that are 'nearby' are in Revelstoke so about 20 km away from the inn.
It was clean, quiet, the hosts were so friendly, the location was amazing along the Columbia river with views of the mountains, great walkable trails nearby, and the breakfasts were terrific. Our room was Deer Meadow with 2 twin beds and it was a generous size. The bedding was bright and colorful, room was very clean and had an in suite bathroom with standing shower. Tons of hot water. There is a hot tub and pool onsite, as well as canoes to borrow. Be sure to check out the Mulvehill Creek waterfall across the road. A short, steep hike that is worth it once you see the awe inspiring power of water! Aside from the filling and fresh breakfast they provide between 8 and 930 daily, there is no onsite restaurant or store so do bring your own food and bevvies. A cooler worked great for us. When I stay in hotels I notice little things like if baseboards are dirty (tells me the cleaning is poor) or paint jobs are splotchy or wall hooks are falling off ( poor maintenance). This place was very well kept with every nook and corner clean and cared for. You are about halfway between the Galena Bay ferry and Revelstoke down along the river, but it is an easy and quick drive to town. For people who want to get some peace and quiet to decompress, this place is perfect. You can get away from people (although the German born host has some great stories from his time travelling the world and is easy to talk with if you wish), or you can drive into Revy for some cool little pubs and coffee houses when you feel like socializing. We came to golf the Revelstoke Golf & Country course. It's a beautifully maintained course, reasonably priced for 18 with cart (you could walk it since its pretty flat).
Not a thing!
Breakfast was fantastic. Stayed two nights breakfast both nights were different and tasted great.
Breakfast before 7am would have been great.
