9.1 Excellent (2,212 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Kyriad Rennes Centre, you'll be centrally located in Rennes, within a 5-minute drive of Parliament of Brittany and Thabor Botanic Gardens. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Less than 15 min by taxi, or you can walk ten minutes to the bus stop and take the C6 bus to/from the airport. Railway station is across the road, lots of small shops and restaurants nearby. Hotel has a theme to it with stenciled drawings and other items (I won't spoil it for you) which was unexpected. Breakfast buffet was nice if slightly over priced, so we only had it one day. We had a balcony as well.
Cons: Wifi was spotty. Room was unbearably hot at night, had to leave the balcony door open to let some air in.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel rooms are movie themed which in itself is quite novel but more importantly the room was very clean, very comfortable, tea making facilities provided, and a lovely spacious bathroom. The hotel is opposite Rennes mainline and metro stations which is very convenient. We were able to leave our luggage both before check in and after check out which was very handy. I would without hesitation recommend this hotel.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Directly opposite the train station, but very calm. The city center is a short walk away (10/15 mins). Movie themed rooms which are very comfortable and cozy. The breakfast buffet is very good and large.

Pros: Central location with secure onsite parking, friendly staff and a quiet comfortable room. A really good buffet breakfast selection including freshly squeezed orange juice. This is our second stay at this hotel.

Cons: The view
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice staff . Clean .
Cons: The bar is too small . The parking is tight .

Pros: Friendly and helpful staff and early check in
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Reasonably located between the older city and the railway station, this hotel is modern and nondescript, but fit for purpose. The room was clean, there was no noise, and breakfast was satisfactory.
Cons: The garage was designed for cars with a modicum of maneuverability and visibility. I would recommend against trying to squeeze in anything recent of 5 meters or more, unless you're very familiar with it and at ease with screaming proximity alarms. Also, as the WC door opens inwards and the cubicle is not large, it might be a tight fit for some...
8.0 Excellent

Pros: Amazing city hotel just outside the historic centre of Rennes, within walking distance from mostly everywhere. The room was very generous size for the money and came equipped with a kitchen (which we didn't use). Everything was nice, clean and in excellent repair. A young guy with glasses at reception was super polite and always very helpful when we had general questions.
Cons: Only minor things: no shampoo in the bathroom; no bottled water provided, but a vending machine in the lobby which charges €2 for 500ml is a bit steep; the internet was steady but a bit slow.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: The Wet room was a big bonus, very smart Hotel in the centre of town, easy connection to the tube and very friendly staff. We didn't have breakfast in the hotel but it looked good, and coffee on tap, 24/7 in the lobby.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location. Lovely accommodation.
Cons: Area for breakfast was very small and busy.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was amazing and the hotel was located close enough for us to walk from the train station and close to shopping and beautiful historic downtown.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: On our final day the receptionist went out of her way to help us get a bus to the airport as all taxis were unavailable, due to travel restrictions in connection with a big race.
Cons: The incredible amount of noise from the street on Friday night, both traffic and partygoers were loud and persistent into the early hours of the morning. Avoid room 103, facing the street, if you want a good Friday night’s sleep. Saturday night ok!
5.0 Okay
Pros: Perfect location. Comfortable bed. Bathroom is fair. Good light in the room.
Cons: Rate is rather high and for this price, you get a room which is hardly larger than the bed inside. You must squeeze between a wall and a hardly opened door to enter the bathroom (not recommended for big people). The "desk" to work on is hardly large enough to put a laptop and documents and you must choose between passing behind the bed or seating on the chair. Breakfast is minimalistic. Except coffee, there is nothing warm. The elevator can be quite noisy. The elevator is shouting the floor number, the direction, etc. We hear it well at night.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Do not book Honorine appartement for a good night sleep. First floor above a busy bar opened until 4 am. Kitchen not well equipped ( no wine opener, no shopping board, no ice bucket...)
Cons: Bad insonorisation in the bed room, bar terrace outside window open until 4 am. Collecting bins 5 am by loud truck. Cleaning street machine at 6 am. Not recommended for a good nigh sleep at the Honorine appartement.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent stay, charming hotel, lovely staff and great location
Cons: 2 beds gathered to make 1 king size, but didn't stick together....
7.0 Good
Pros: The hotel location is convenient with major attractions of Rennes within your reach. The train and bus lines are easily accessible but parking of own vehicle may be a challenge. The breakfast is good with limited options. The staff is well behaved with English speaking training.
Cons: The rooms are really small and not the value for money. The accessibility of rooms from corridor may be an issue if you are carrying big bags.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was the usual Continental breakfast.but this hotel offered a little more than many other hotels I have stayed in. The room was very comfortable but unfortunately I was disturbed by what sounded like furniture being moved during the early hours The staff were very friendly and accomodating Parking was good and adjacent to the main entry The hotel was very Clean. An eloge for that
Cons: As previously mentioned, I would have been happier had I not been disturbed in the early hours Soap was lacking at the washbasin which meant that it had to be taken from the dispenser in the shower. Not so ood when the floor of the shower cubicle is wet.
7.5 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: All good
7.9 Good
Pros: Good selection of continental breakfast
Cons: The location wasn't ideal being in a commercial area on a very busy road into the city however it was only a bus ride. There was a Bar and Grill and room service consisted of Domino's pizza. No tea or coffee facilities.

Pros: Good value for money if you are on route to Cherbourg or to the South. Chromecast included in the tv which was nice as we could watch some movies in the tv.

Cons: All ok
4.0 Okay
Pros: Breakfast was good and the red wine with the evening meal was very good and not so expensive.
Cons: Reviews suggested the food was very good in the onsite restaurant. However there was a very limited menu and no alternative restaurants close by. Perhaps they were down a chef on the night as would have thought the choice would have been better. The wine was good though!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Well run - all in working order and seemed 100% clean. Staff were helpful and friendly - particularly Moussa who made our late/tired arrival much easier with his helpful and relaxed attitude. It was convenient for us as a stop off en route to Mont St Michel from the Limoges area. The car park seemed quite good - not gated but right outside the rooms. The breakfast was extremely good - a high quality buffet with plenty of healthy options.
Cons: Just one word of caution - it could be difficult to navigate to it without a SatNav: google maps took us straight there through what seemed like a complex route involving a few dual carriageway junctions.

Cons: Nothing really, but I would have liked to be able to reduce the temp. in my room. According to the leaflet I should have been able too but the unit kept indicating to me that I couldn't.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything about this hotel was excellent. We ended up staying for over a week, taking full advantage of what the hotel offered. The hotel was exceptionally clean. It was modern and very well designed.,having been built only two years ago. The spa was brilliant with a hammam, jacuzzi, massage jet pool, and Kusmi tea. The small fitness centre was excellent too. The room facilities were great with an extremely comfortable bed and pillows, Nespresso machine, Richard Comptoir tea, Evian water, make up mirror, and excellent view of a huge leafy tree. Our particular room had an enclosed balcony area with full height doors that open, creating a very nice indoor/outdoor effect. As great as everything was, the best thing about the hotel was the service. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful and kind. They helped us find a local doctor, book taxis, and were happy to make us a complimentary coffee as we waited for a taxi on more than one occasion. We were able to borrow and iron and ironing board, send and receive parcels at the front desk, request our room to be cleaned at the time we wanted, etc. Faultless service and facilities, excellent amenities, great location. We will most definitely be back any time we need to be in Rennes.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good location with hotel parking. Comfortable rooms and very helpful staff.
7.5 Good
Pros: This hotel oozes old fashioned style. The rooms are large and comfortable. It’s the first time we’ve had an electrically adjustable bed which was a bit novel. Ample heating which made the room cozy. The pool is outstanding. Big, clean and heated with great massage jets, perfect! Excellent buffet breakfast too.
Cons: There was nothing we could fault.

2.0 Mediocre
Cons: The payments were all missed by the hote (I booked 3 rooms)l; I asked for clarification and I did obtain a reply from them explaining the reasons of the erros; however, when the bank statement was received, there was a transaction I never agreed with and then two credits for the value of this transaction; additionally, one transaction agreed was charged twice. I had to explain my job didn't know why it had happened because I really don't know. It has taken so much of my time that I decided not to contact them anymore however, I'm not considering staying in this hotel again.
