Food was delicious and staff is great!
We loved the pools, bars, and the private beach.
We requested a nice room and paid for a balcony room with ocean view to celebrate our wedding anniversary. However, we arrived to a room with obstructed view (palm trees blocking the ocean). We asked to be moved and they “agreed” to move us to another room. I asked about complimentary services for special events and amazingly nothing was available ... but they told that they could “give us” chocolate covered strawberries. We found six melted on the coffee table! Poor customer service from Yureni, the lady from the counter of the World of Hyatt was rude, condescending & dismissive. Didn’t like the cheap plastic “mattress cover” that made noise every-time you turned at night. This is below the Hyatt standards!! Poor quality of food in half of their restaurants. The best ones were the food court/buffet, Brazilian & Asian with ocean views. The crowd... although the hotel doesn’t have much control about it, but rough-looking crowd. We’ve been to Hyatts in USA, Cancun, Spain, France, India, and Chile but this has been our worst experience. Very disappointing!!
hotel staff provided excellent service in all amenity areas. The beach front and views were amazing even during rainy season.
I didn't like how the staff tried to get every dollar out of you. They tried to up sell the rooms, dining, etc. Daily was being harassed to spend more money. It took away from the overall good feel of the vacation.
Margaritas were poor quality.
Calm beach, good bed, good food (generally speaking)
Too many inconsiderate Yahoos, the drainage area in the middle of the beach, white wine (Chardonnay), no appetizers at the beac bar, too much American music, not enough Mexican music
