The breakfast was ok. Armadillo was good. The best food was at the Grill by the pool and the Japanese restaurant. I didn't get to try the steakhouse.
Some things that occurred during our stay.. I had to call to get someone to clean the wall of the bathroom. I guess a previous guest had picked thier nose and put it on the wall. Someone did come to clean it. Other than that the room appeared to be clean but there was some dust on the bench by the bed. Nothing too bad. However we had a private swim up room for that price I do think the room should be perfect. I still enjoyed the room. When my friends and I went into the spa steam room we were locked inside. I knocked on the door and no one came. I don't think the door should ever be locked in case a guest has an emergency or gets overheated and needs to come out. The drinks had very little or watered down alcohol. The sweet drinks did taste good however I just didnt notice the alcohol in the drinks that I chose. I'm not a person who likes strong drinks but I hope they didn't water them down. Room service food wasn't that great. So we only got it once. For me I only felt satisifed with food the last night. I'd give the resort a 7.
We really liked the daily pool activities and the night activities.
Bartenders were not very friendly. Ignored us several times during our stay. We visited the beach but did not like the sea weed shores and the smell.
It was a wonderful place for my 12 friends and I to rest and enjoy our time together. We got a swim up room which was worth the money. The staff was great and helpful. We got to know some great bartenders! There are so many places to eat that we did not have enough time to try it all out. But we did do a private dining at the steakhouse and that was a wonderful experience! You can even schedule when you want room service delivered which was amazing when we had to wake up early and can just order the night before on the TV!
I wish the room service menu would have a little bit more things, but otherwise it was great. The location at the resort is away from the main city, so it is difficult to get out there. But if you plan on being at the resort the whole time, then it was absolutely beautiful!
It is a beautiful property. Staff was great.
I think the property should have a shuttle to Puerto Morelos. I felt so isolated on the property. It is not in walking distance to anything.
Rooms are fine. For Mexico 5* ok but on an international scale only a 4.5 star. Unfortunately, the beach at this time of the year was not usable. Knee deep covered in seaweed. Never put a foot into the water. However pools were fantastic.
Check in and check out at reception very “painful”. Long and complicated.
