Galapagos Verde Azul - Puerto Ayora - Building
1
8.0 Excellent (692 reviews)

Guests will find Astrea and Santa Cruz Fish Market just a short distance from the hotel. At the end of a busy day, travelers can unwind and relax in the hotel or go out and enjoy the city. 10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great eating/sitting/pool area, cozy for hang out incl. sun beds and hammocks. Large light room and nice kept bathroom. Free water and coffee. Good value/price level.
7.9 Good
Pros: The staff were very nice and friendly. The location was good and lovely views. Air conditioning worked well. Everything very clean.
Cons: The lighting in our room was very stark. Our parents had warmer fluorescent lightbulbs which were much more comfortable. The coffee was very weak and the breakfast very limited.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Large room and location
Cons: Breakfast was juice and an egg.
7.0 Good
Pros: Very much enjoyed breakfast as well as the staff at the hotel! Always helpful and kind. Willing to supply everything needed!
Cons: The only complaint would be that the bathroom does not have any moving air which makes it very stuffy within!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We love it being off the busy strip and the breakfast was soo good!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I love this property. I had a private room which was nice and cool upon arrival. Staff gave a tour of the property. Nice pool area and breakfast each day with eggs made per order. I’m a spontaneous traveler at times and I booked an extra night before realizing I wanted to go to Isabela Island. I worked with the staff / main office to not incur any cancellation fees for pushing out a night. They were incredibly kind and understanding. Close to Charle’s Darwin’s research center. I spent 3/4 nights at this property and would return here if I go again. Also as a gym rat.. there’s a CrossFit gym across the street for $5!! Amazing.
Cons: FYI it’s not in the center of Santa Cruz, so you have to walk about 4 mins to the main strip. But that’s not far at all in my opinion. It’s actually nice to get to pass by all the shops / restaurants before heading home.
1.0 Poor
Pros: The lady who checked us in was really lovely and tried her hardest to help us.
Cons: The two rooms we were allocated on the ground floor were awful, very dingy with no working air conditioning in either of them which with the humidity level was not acceptable particularly as it was advertised as having air conditioning. One of them only had windows onto a internal corridor and the other onto a narrow shady walkway. We ended up finding somewhere else to stay as we just didn't feel comfortable staying here.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable room in a quiet area, only a few minutes walk to the town centre. The staff was very helpful and breakfast ok.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, very friendly staff, hot shower and nice outdoor area.
Cons: Rooms are a bit outdated and don’t look great but that doesn’t matter as everything was clean and comfortable. Shower was great. Breakfast could be better.
Royal Palm Galapagos - Puerto Ayora - Building
2
9.1 Excellent (39 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at The Royal Palm Hotel in Santa Rosa, you'll be a 1-minute drive from Galapagos National Park and 9 minutes from Los Gemelos Sinkholes. Featured amenities include a business center, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk.
6.3 Good
Pros: Bed and bath were nice Restaurant food and ambiance Service and workers good
Cons: First morning NO water pressure! Internet sketchy room ceiling cracked all the way across remote location price paid not worth the facility
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Good place t ostay - big and nice rooms with fireplace in it. Staff can make fire.
Cons: Breakfast was poor selection as for hotel of such class. Also dinner was quite expensive as for offered quality
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Royal Palms Hotel is in a stunning location in the highlands above Puerto Ayora - a $10 taxi ride from the port. The hotel sits on 500 hectares (over 1000) acres of lush fauna and is even more beautiful than its pictures portray. The entire staff - I mean everyone - is friendly and helpful. The restaurant is charming; all food is fresh, cooked to order, nicely plated and reasonable for a five star location. The grounds are unusually beautiful and fun to explore. They include the most interesting and extensive lava tunnel we visited during our stay on the Galapagos. The hotel provides a hard-hat and assigns a staff member to serve as your guide through the tunnel for an additional fee of five dollars. Our stay was principally for R & R after more than a week of extensive sightseeing throughout the archipelago. However, the hotel would gladly arrange daily or extended visits to other locations on the island, or by boat or plane, to the other islands. Christina Gonzalez, a hotel manager, was off-site when we visited, but had greatly facilitated our entire Galapagos experience prior to our arrival. In summary, the hotel is a gem.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Enjoyed our Preferred Guest upgrade from casitas to villas...especially the fireplace on a damp, rainy night. Our driver/waiter/jack of all trades Gustavo was terrific. The lava tunnels were very cool to see.
7.5 Good
Pros: It is a very upscale and classy resort and property, although the weather is basically cloudy and drizzly all day long. It is nice change from Puerto Ayora and closer to the airport, but perhaps not as convenient as one might think because it is remote. The food is very good but it is the only choice. Finally, there are no taxis nearby. The sales staff will offer hotel transfer for $46 per person. This is overpriced. I asked to cancel my transfer and was only offered half of my money back. I feel this is a little bit dishonest and in the long run may work against the hotel. I won't stay here again because Puerto Ayora is a better value. Do yourself a favor and do not book hotel to airport transfer in advance. Instead request a taxi which only cost $25 for up to four passengers. Water taxi is $1 pp and airport shuttle is $5 pp. Taxi option is a much better value. Likewise, do not book any tours in advance -- they are way, way overpriced. Buy your tour for tortoises + lava tunnels in Puerto Ayora for $50 for half day via taxi driver. No need to pay $140 PP for same tour. This is the only lodging in three Galapagos Islands that I do not recommend and endorse. The main problem is not the hotel staff and management. The problem is the dishonest sales staff. I'm unsure whether the owners are behind their policies, but I think they should understand that a 50% "cancellation penalty" and overcharging may ultimately harm their sales.
Cons: The sales staff will offer hotel transfer for $46 per person. This is overpriced. I asked to cancel my transfer and was only offered half of my money back. I feel this is a little bit dishonest.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing villa Nice area to sunbathe Great food Lovely staff Made to feel like an appreciated customer
Cons: Gym could do with updating
7.9 Good
Pros: The villa was great, the normal staff is extraordinarily friendly and helpful.
Cons: They didn’t provide an invoice in time, thus I could not get a tax refund. The tours organized by the hotel are just a tourist ripoff. The location is very far away from everything one could visit.
7.5 Good
Pros: The staff was wonderful. Really accommodating and it felt like they really cared. The amount of space in the rooms were great.
Cons: It seems mostly empty of guests. The food is mediocre. The rooms smell of mildew and have mildew on the curtains.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was great. If you like to be in town then this hotel is not for you. It is a short taxi to the closes town but the property is awesome and quiet. Great to have quiet after a long tour on the islands. The staff is great! We booked a tour through another venue, the hotel staff called them to make sure we were taken care of. I forgot to arrange pick up but the hotel staff sent a car to pick up the family without me asking them to, just great attention to detail. The staff walks you to your room to insure every thing is perfect. Day one our AC went out so they upgraded us moved luggage into new room. I travel a lot for my job and rarely have a seen such attention from a hotel staff. Thank you for making a wonderful trip that much better. We will return.
Cons: I liked everything.

Cons: Rooms are small and need update! Lots of construction in the yard

8.0 Excellent
Cons: Mejor iluminación en el cuarto.
6.0 Good
Pros: Location is right off the pier. Close to everything.
Cons: Bathrooms were not as clean as I would want. I had to be moved to different rooms because water preassure was not working in bathroom.
6.0 Good
Pros: The location is right next to the ferry port so it was very convenient when we had to leave early the next morning. We didn't have a ton of time at this hotel, but it does have a nice pool and bar area. They also offer a pretty significant breakfast buffet.
Cons: The room was right off the courtyard/across from the bar so it was very noisy at night. The room itself was not very comfortable and didn't seem very clean either.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beds were comfortable and the room was large. Front desk person was very helpful and knowledgeable. The breakfast food was good and the seating area was nice. The location was good.
7.1 Good
Pros: The price was rather good.
Cons: The standard room (bed in particular) is not very comfortable.
4.0 Okay
Pros: Rooms were well air conditioned and breakfast was fair. It starts early so you have plenty of time to catch your tours. Beds are fairly spacious.
Cons: Staff is super unfriendly and cold, there are no smiles or help to be had here! We felt like we only met glares. Shower is fickle, there is rarely hot water. There is also no security box in the room. Unlike other hotels we stayed at on the islands, there is no water refill station, so you will need to purchase bottled water everyday, which can quickly add up and is (a liter of water is about $1.50), and it’s bad for the environment.
7.0 Good
Pros: The localization was very good: we had a small market very close, the pier close and several restaurants options; Pool: it has a pool and a hot tub that add a "relax" moment to our trip; Service: they storage our luggage until thew check-in time and as soon the room was ready they allowed us to access the room (1 hour before) Breakfast: really, really good breakfast. Room: good beds, good space and good air-conditioning.
Cons: Travel agency: they have a travel agency that was HORRIBLE with me. A old lady (I don't know her name, she was grey haired) made me fell stupid several times and lied. I got into Ninfa Tours agency and I requested to book two tours and pay with credit card, she was nice and said yes and in the moment I was ready to pay she said the system was "out" and ask me to pay one of the tours in cash. I did it and she said to me to be back by noon to pay in credit card... guess what: the agency was closed in the time she aligned. I did come back several times and every time I found her she was "awkward" and said the system was still out and asked to be back in another time and the store was CLOSED AGAIN. Eventually I gave up, but she lied three times just to not receive this payment through credit card (this is usual in Galapagos). Shower: the heat system is integrated with the hot tub, so many times the water was TOO HOT (burning) and I needed to request to cold down (it takes ~20min). Security: the hotel is always open and with full access for anyone who want to get in. Since the rooms are in the ground floor and with an open window to the shared areas... it makes me fell insecure.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location right on the water is the point to this place. Cozy up to sea lions and iguanas as you have a cocktail on the deck. The property feels interwoven with the vegetation and rocks which is cool.
Cons: Due to the window and floor layout, our bathroom got little ventilation which led to a bit of a mildew smell.
Galápagos Suites Palace - Puerto Ayora - Building

8.9 Excellent (18 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Hotel Palace Galapagos in Puerto Ayora, you'll be by the sea, within a 15-minute walk of Malecon and Las Grietas. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, laundry facilities, and a library.
9.1 Excellent
Pros: Friendly helpful manager. In quiet neighbourhood, but close to both the "downtown" waterfront and the Darwin Research Centre.
7.9 Good
Pros: It is a good value considering the limited choices in Puerto Ayora and that the hotel is newer than most.
Cons: The location is not the best, as there is a mini-slum across the street with two or three very poor houses. It is worth noting however, that this did not cause any problem other than visual during my stay.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was excellent and staff very friendly
Cons: WiFi connection was not very strong (but found this all over the Galapagos)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Sonia cooked our amazing breakfasts. The food was delicious and the room was very elegant with classical music in the background. There was nothing the staff couldn’t do to please us. We were very impressed with their dedication. The walk to the waterfront was a short one but taxis anywhere in the town cost $1.50.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect all around Jose Miguel and Amy provided excellent customer service Excellent facility !
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Super friendly staff, good recommendations on travel agencies and things to do, very clean and safe
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel associates were more than welcome to go above and beyond to provide us excellent customer service especially Amy and Jose Miguel
Cons: Nothing
9.2 Excellent
Pros: WiFi OK, considering it's not good anywhere on the Galápagos Islands (it's better to buy a SIM card for mobile internet). Difficult to stream video's but steady and good enough for browsing. Rooms were very nice and spacious. Bathroom also spacious and nice. Very friendly hosts!! You can get beach towels, and you can fill up your water bottle at the reception.
Cons: Breakfast was good but could be a bit more diverse. There was a small kitchen in our room (microwave and cooking plate), but no cutlery neither glasses, plates, kitchen utensils, pots, ... Didn't need it so didn't ask for it either (this is just FYI).
7.5 Good
Pros: The apartment with the kitchen is dated and needs work but the other room that we stayed in was very nice. Their cheapest price rooms are tiny! The staff were great and helped out with whatever we needed. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Thank you Diego.
Cons: The place needs updating and for the amount it charges, I think one expects more.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: The rooms & hotel were beautiful. Water taxi was very easy to the central area. Las Grietas was a nice hike from the hotel. It was a little pricey but the views were amazing!
6.7 Good
Pros: pleasant room, nice outside furniture, excellent housekeeping
Cons: everything to do with the restaurant was below par. Untrained, uncoordinated personnel, talking to each other in loud voices/screaming until 2200 in the evening - bad for someone with room at the ground floor! Busy with each other, not with the (few) guests. Dinner low quality and overpriced: breakfast not at 5* level, and with chaotic service. In the week I was there, Management was invisible, with (restaurant and kitchen) staff clearly unsupervised.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Well organized clean hotel.Beautiful location !Helpful staff!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Meals
Cons: Prices
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff is incredibly attentive Property is constantly being cleaned
Cons: Owner of the property (Mr. Angermeyer) reprimands staff in front of patrons— bad form
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely unique experience right on the waterfront with views in every direction. Sunsets on the top patio were inspiring. Staff went above and beyond to make our stay top notch and the owner even provided us with some amazing history! Snorkeling Las Grietas was beautiful as well and only a short walk away.
Cons: We would have liked to have had more time to spend here!
1.0 Poor
Pros: Location, staff and decor were perfectly acceptable
Cons: The hotel owners had scheduled extensive maintenance work during our stay - we were one of only a few couples staying at the time. The refurbishment was noisy, lasted all day and created clouds of dust which meant the public areas of the hotel were unusable throughout our stay.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Good location. Friendly, helpful staff. Very comfy bed. Great value.
Cons: A little basic.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was excellent. It is a 5 minute walk to the dock and to the Charles Binford kiosks. Our room had a comfortable king sized bed and air conditioning. Rafael, the host, was helpful with information about the area and also sells ferry tickets. It’s a great place to stay.
Cons: Nothing
4.2 Okay
Pros: Location is central
Cons: I arrived and they wouldn’t give me my room because it had two beds and I was only one person. I had paid the full two-person rate for the room and so this explanation didn’t make any sense but the person on duty said it was out of her hands. My reservation was printed out right in front of her but she wouldn’t honor it! Getting to puerto ayora is a big effort for most people and spending my first hour dealing with this totally nonsensical situation and not being able to check in to the room I booked was super annoying and nothing like I’ve ever dealt with before. I booked this place because of its high reviews but this situation was really inexcusable. Solo travelers stay away, I guess.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Not luxury but professional!
Cons: No real breakfast offered
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff / owner is lovely. The rooms (and bed) are very large. The location is good
Cons: The wifi is not great, but it isn't good anywhere on the island

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Rooms are huge and very clean. A/C is loud but thank god there is one because it’s incredibly hot. Willman at the reception is great! He gave us great insight of the island, what to see by ourself, what to our to for for. Very friendly, we loved him. The place is extremely clean. There is always someone around cleaning
Cons: Nothing

Pros: It was clean and tidy.
Cons: A/C sounded like an outboard motor.
6.3 Good
Pros: Big rooms
Cons: Hear everything
1.0 Poor
Cons: Security is very poor in this hostel, so it is very bed hostel from my point of view. There are no lockers.Money were stolen from my backpack. It is located close to the school, so it is noisy during the day.
7.0 Good
Cons: Wifi
4.0 Okay
Pros: The location is great. It is a nice building.
Cons: The beds were a bit uncomfortable. It was very hot but the air-conditioner sounded like a plane taking off so we couldn't use it. There was a humid smell in the room that the air-conditioner could have improved but it was impossible to sleep with it on.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff always ready to help. Very good location only few minutes from centre and Tortuga beach.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Basic accommodation in Santa Cruz just off the central area. Very good value for money compared to other places. Willman was very nice and explained to us what free activities we can do on the island. A pleasant stay on Galapagos.
Cons: None
Lava House Hostal - Puerto Ayora - Bedroom
11
8.5 Excellent (48 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Hostel located in the center of Puerto Ayora, a few blocks from the street of Los Kioskos, Pelican Bay and the tourist sites of Santa Cruz Island. We have outdoor spaces where you can observe mockingbirds and Darwin's finches.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: I really liked this place! The room was really good and very comfortable. There was cleaning every day. There is a place to sit outside of the room, which was good. The staff was really friendly and helpful. Location was very good as well - up to 5 minutes to a see market and 10-15 minutes to the pier.
Cons: I liked everything!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property itself feels like a little oasis from the relatively busy 'city.' Upon walking in the front gate, you are in a courtyard which has a peaceful garden, 3 comfortable hammocks in which to rest and plenty of other sitting areas. The activity at this property feels like the perfect amount of quiet with just the right bit of life. At night, there were sweet twinkling lights, making the outdoor space inviting even in the evening! The family that owns Lava House is lovely, always someone around willing to help. The cook/cleaner is very sweet as well. The rooms were cleaned daily, beds comfortable, shower water pressure good and plenty of space to spread out a bit. Breakfast was in the 'main house' and was served buffet stye, although eggs were sometimes brought straight to the table. There was hot coffee and juice, fresh local bread, eggs, cheese, meat, granola, homemade yogurt and fruit. The tables were already set when you arrived and it was an extremely pleasant spot to sit and chat and prep for the day! I honestly could not say enough good things about Lava House! We have been traveling for about a year as a family and if every city had a Lava House, I wouldn't complain. If you need a home base for Santa Cruz, this should be it!
Cons: Not a thing -- loved everything.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lava House is an excellent place to stay on Santa Cruz. It is in a great quiet location not far from town. Isabella and her family (and Cesar) are very friendly and helpful. We had a group of 22 and she was able to accommodate us. To use a credit card, there is an additional 10% fee to be paid in cash.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Nice breakfast, loved the family atmosphere in this place
7.5 Good
Pros: Our room was really big with four beds (not necessary), WiFi and breakfast was okay- nothing special.
Cons: Our room was next to the street and next to the facility - or storeroom so it was really noisy most of the time. Furthermore they have a building site at the moment so the noise starts early in the morning- so no silence at all. For this price - no way (especially at the moment... maybe in an other room its better)
7.9 Good
Pros: The staff are wonderful. Very helpful & all around great! They help you set up drivers and tours and are so warm and welcoming. We loved being there!
Cons: The shower is either freezing or scalding hot.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good location, good breakfast with granola, plain yoghurt, and some fruit. Owner is very kind and sweet, though she does not speak much English. But there are usually others around who can translate. Or you can use google translate. Relaxing environment and good vibe. Good air conditioning. Laundry facility is close by if you want to take in your laundry. I brought it in about 5pm and it was ready the next day at 5pm.
Cons: On the first night the air conditioner was a little loud, but she switched me to another room, which was nice. My room could use a tray to put soap and shampoo, but not a big deal. Not much counter space in bathroom.

Pros: A beautiful place with a great staff. Renato was an excellent concierge and the staff were very friendly. The pool was warm and open 24 hours. We got to swim with a pair of Galapagos Pintails. The food was superb.
Cons: The room was small but the common areas in the resort were excellent and we spent little time in the room.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The food of in-house restaurant will worth the money spent. The nature, beach and hospitality are great. The swimming pool will be a delight surprise as you can swim with ducks.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic quiet spot. Food is excellent. Breakfast is a bit different every morning. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Very nice to have dinner outside. Fish was delicious , pasta dishes as well.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful, peaceful setting. Hammocks on the patios. Elegant dining room with varied menu.
Cons: The simply furnished rooms are a little tight on space. This was fine for a one night stay. Access is via a water taxi from the centre of Puerto Ayora followed by 500m on foot. Puerto Ayora is accessed from Baltra airport by bus, ferry and taxi/bus. Would be preferable to stay here following a Galapagos cruise rather than prior.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Quiet, clean, comfy, free snorkel equipment
Cons: All good, even the fact that it's not in the busy area.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The little garden at the entrance is nice! In 10-15 minutes walk You can arrive to the center! The bed is comfortable, we appreciate it after a long flight from Europe! The staff was nice and helped us coordinating a pick up of our bikes with the taxi driver (they rent bikes).
Cons: Is not well located, not for distance but because is in a secondary street without lights. They could better the entrance because if you arrive with the bus you can walk up and down the street looking for the name of the hostel until you realize there is a door and the name is written in black in a photo attached at the other side of it. The bathroom was so dirty, and the light didn’t work.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: They were very helpful

Cons: no internet
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel was exactly what I was looking for! A charming, relaxing and peaceful stay. After a long day in town, disconecting from the world and enjoy the nature just looking from my window was just what I needed. In addition to the lovely place, the staff was very kind and the food delicious. Defitnely one of the best places in the Galapagos.

7.0 Good
Pros: It's a nice hotel, very well situated close to everything: pier, food street, main street etc. There is a swimming pool. They reorganise the area and it definitely becomes better
Cons: There is no safe in the room, there is TV but no remote control, maybe you can take it at the reception, but the reception is constantly closed. I liked the people. when you can find them, the staff is very helpful though you don't quite understand how to find them
3.7 Mediocre
Pros: There weren't any bugs.
Cons: There was no hot water for showering. Their excuse was that you "have to run the water for 20 minutes" which was not only a total lie to save face but would be a criminal waste of clean water if every room had to do that every day. The front desk staff doesn't speak English and were otherwise incompetant, also inaccessible after outside regular business hours. Hotel is a 3-sotry walk-up. They have NO amenities such as soap or shampoo. Towels are not provided without asking. No fridge in room, no bottled water. Also right now there is insanely noisy concrete drilling and construction on the property nonstop during daytime hours. The staff brings their small children who are quiet at times but running around screaming at other times. A really horrible place to stay for the premium price. I moved out even with the no refund policy. Would never recommend.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Breakfast was good, overall comfortable room
Cons: Noise: the property is under construction, there are construction workers on your personal balcony and pool is not possible to use. In addition there is a Bar/Restaurant with loud music across the street and insulation is poor, Light: the street lights in front of the hotel shine into the room the whole night and the curtains are poor, so it feels like daylight 24/7 Service: almost non-existent, very little presence of staff. Forgot our boxed breakfast in the morning on the last day
9.6 Excellent
Pros: It was perfectly located, breakfast was awesome, staff were great.
Cons: The bathroom smelled weird but it was clean
5.0 Okay
Pros: The location and breakfast are fantastic. As well, the staff at the restaurant next door where breakfast is served are wonderful.
Cons: After talking to lots of locals feeling like I was paying way too much for how little the hotel was providing they said I was indeed getting ripped off. I paid over $100/night for the same as most places charge $30. I almost never saw anyone working at reception. I didn't have hot water until I emailed the hotel (because I didn't know what else to do to contact someone) and they must have turned it on because it worked after that. The rooms had zero amenities, no safe, no iron, no blow drier, no storage, only 3 hangers. For over $100 they could at least throw a piece of art up on the wall. There's a lot the hotel needs to do to charge so much.
4.0 Okay
Pros: The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was a good size, we wanted to book out early and the staff were very kind and helpful
Cons: A swimming pool was being built so it was very noisy on arrival and the shower did not work properly it was only a drip of water and the tap came off in my parters hand. The room was a bit tired
5.4 Okay
Cons: unfriendly and incompetent personal, whole day over construction noise, rooms do not correspond to the pictures.
7.5 Good
Pros: Nice, clean, simple rooms.
Cons: Payment with card was not working properly, the breakfast was rather simple.
4.6 Okay
Pros: Large room - good location
Cons: We were refused and early breakfast pack when we had to go diving - requested the previous day - even though staff were scheduled to be there On Sunday night we got back at 6.15 and we’re told that they were only serving residents - when we told them that we were residents they said that we did not have a reservation and that the chef was leaving - the tennis was on so we stayed to watch the outcome and 5 people were served food The room was very spartan No refrigerator The cab booked for the airport did not arrive ( probably wasn’t booked at all ) Advertised washing machine not available Huge noise from a venue very close by until about 5am Sunday
7.5 Good
Pros: The location is near everything
Cons: The internet was down, there’s no elevator so you should take your baggage upstairs, there’s a lot of noise it’s hard to sleep; you can hear everything from the other rooms.

Pros: in the hostel we were only for one night. the staff was very friendly and we even spoke in English (which is sometimes a problem with other hostels) helped us to call a taxi to ferry

Cons: It was a little challenging to contact the person in charge one time.

Pros: We loved that it was tucked away from the hustle and bustle of life. We also loved the walking trails and seeing the tortoises. The breakfasts and dinners were great! We would definitely stay here again.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very nice staff. The manager , Katia was extremely helpful and knowledgeable.
Cons: Was too far out of town
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The garden around the property with the giant tortoises is creates a magic feeling of peace and quiet. With the few rooms and guests venturing out on day tours a retreat like feeling emerges. The care of the staff adds to this and makes one wonder how quick the time passes while doing nothing just observing the passing clouds and the birds and turtles.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Manager was fantastic

10.0 Excellent
Pros: delicious
Cons: honestly,it was all good
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Catty is a great host, very attentive and responsive Breakfast was delicious Turn down service was offered daily The location is far from the beach (7$ cab ride each way), in the midst of the greenery of highland was what we were looking for. My children enjoy the small pool There were tortoises on the property so one can closely observe them without having to do a specific tour elsewhere for it. Wandering around this vast property on its own walking trails was very relaxing and enjoyable.
Cons: Both of our two rooms has the humidity smell and were dusty Bed linen and towels could benefit some refreshment as well as bathroom's amenities (mirors, shower doors )
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast, all the food was great. Excellent location for nature walks on the grounds to see giant tortoises. Great place to relax
Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location right on the water is the point to this place. Cozy up to sea lions and iguanas as you have a cocktail on the deck. The property feels interwoven with the vegetation and rocks which is cool.
Cons: Due to the window and floor layout, our bathroom got little ventilation which led to a bit of a mildew smell.
