Very comfortable and modern room with some some lovely extra touches such as a pillow menu and responsive housekeeping. Great view from balcony. Exceptional breakfast
The gym attracted an additional charge, as did parking which wasn't clear at the time of booking. It also wasn't clear that the hotel pool which is heavily marketed on the site was across a road a few minutes from the hotel. Pool bar slow service, not enough staff.

I didn't like the lack of direct access to the sea from the hotel and hotel does not have own area by the sea. I was placed in a room on the 1st floor with no balcony and a view of the wall, someone else's fence at a distance of 1 meter. And that's for 542 euros for 2 night for Genius traveler! I think the room takes a prize for my travels as the most expensive of the worst.

The garbage bin in the bathroom wasn't empty and full of rotten vegetables. But they cleaned everything after we mentioned it.

The Remisens Premium Casa Bel Moretto Annexe (4*) (previously the Smart Selection Barbara Annexe) is an annexe to the Remisens Premium Hotel Metropol, located in Portorož, the most famous summer resort on the Slovenian coast.
