The breakfast was great (no eggs though, but pasteis de nata to compensate :) ) and the location is brilliant too. We loved the charm of this old hotel and staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Couldn't recommend more.
Place is very center
It was written 3 we could have slept 3 in the bedroom but beds are very small. Hopfully we had managed to book another room (more expensivre). If not it would had been a nighmare.
The location is very good; but it’s near all the pubs so we couldn’t sleep.
There is no fun or air conditioner available. You can hear the screams of drunk people all night long so no sleep for you. No security box or small refrigerator. The staff didn’t know any recommendations of restaurants. They even didn’t say hi when we arrive. Basically worst hotel I have ever been.
Location was central to main tourist area of Porto. Hotel is vintage but could do with a freshen up with paint. Good for those who wish to be near metro and buses for travel or who wish to walk about city. It is a traditional Portuguese hotel therefore facing onto narrow streets and close to opposite buildings.
Choice of toilet seats to decorate walls seemed a bit odd or maybe surreal. You can hear all noise and people passing by due to location but if you wish to be central then it is unavoidable in an older building. Not good for children. Banisters flimsy on all floors and it is a sheer drop down.
good staff, good location
