This is a nice, quiet spot that is close to pretty much everything in Port Douglas. The owners are easy to work with on arrival and departure times and are very proactive about helping with tourist activities.
There were some very minor annoyances, like a bathtub missing a plug and a backdoor that was quasi-lockable.
We were late checking in so the manager put our stuff in an envelope and slipped it in the office door. I connected with him the next morning and he was very friendly and provided some good local information. Place was clean. Had washer and dryer that came in handy. Internet was not working well so they did not charge us for it which was nice. I reported the bedroom blind upstairs and some light bulbs throughout were not working but they were repaired quickly.
Did not like being charged for some things that should have come with the unit. We were there for three nights but they only had dish detergent for two but wanted to charge us for any more. Asked for an additional towel but would charge us for that as well. Power to our unit went out the second night but that was quickly repaired.
Very comfortable, clean and reasonably quiet. Air conditioners and fans in every room. Staff had good knowledge of attractions and tours. Grounds were clean, BBQ facility was great, and although some reviews we read said pool size was small, it suited us fine.
TV's were a lot older than models shown in brochure and the one in the master bedroom had lost its remote. Also, only 1 tea towel provided for our 7 night stay and a family of 5 - could have done with another(but this is only minor). Perhaps would've liked it a little closer to the patrolled beach area.
great managers, clean, cozy and convenient for our family of 5, all we needed to make the vacation easy
not luxury, but very clean and sufficient, pool much smaller than picture suggests, but the beach is larger!
Friendly staff, modern apartment with up to date furnishings, quiet, good car parking, walking distance to Macrossan Street
Pool & barbecue area could use an update
The surroundings were relaxing and there was no noise from other guests or from traffic. Very peaceful. Peta and Alan were very helpful. Would stay there again.
The pool was not heated and even though it was a warm 27 degrees, it was a bit cold for the grandchildren.
I loved the space in the townhouse and the amenities provided. Alan provided advice about the different activities we were interested in. He and Peta were wonderful.
