Pros: Quiet and very relaxing. Owners are extremely friendly and have good tips for to do’s in the area. I can definitely recommend this place!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect from the first greeting at arrival to the goodbye at departure the next day. Very friendly and personable hosts made this a wonderful stay. They offered some great information about the area which was very helpful. The hike at Robberg was pretty awesome. Comfortable room in the former silo, nice bed, swimming pool and a tasty breakfast the next morning all made it a great but short stay. Wish I could have stayed for a few more days.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is an absolute dream. I stayed in the upper Silo or as I call it the Princess-tower. The surrounds and the night sky is absolutely stunning, the photos don't lie. Jenny and Chris are such lovely, caring people! You can feel that they enjoy what they do. Their knowledge of the area is unbelievable. I was travelling solo and I felt so comforted by the thought that they looked out for me. The breakfast was incredible, often with homegrown produce and eggs from their own hens. The staff was very attentive, friendly and helpful. I would give 6 stars if I could and would definitely stay at Bella Manga again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing location- the favourite on our trip so far. Chris & Jenny were super friendly and warm welcoming. The breakfast was incredible- lots of homemade stuff like marmalade, porridge, granola and pancakes. We stayed in the rondavel and slept like babies. We had everything we needed. We fed the donkeys and loved all of the other animals too.
Cons: Everything perfect

Pros: The location was perfect;) close to the beach, restaurants and shops. Adrienne and Bernie were wonderful and treated us like old friends:). Delicious breakfast and friendly staff.
Cons: No undercover parking
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Adrienne and Bernie are the most friendly and service minded hosts we've ever met, thanks!! Nice, cosy rooms, good quality beds, very clean. Free access to indoor and ourdoor areas for socialising or relaxing. Pool is bigger than it appears on the pictures. Breakfast is fantastic! Located in a quite, prosperous area only a few minutes walking from a magnificent beach. Highly recommendable!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed in the self catering cottage which was lovely. We had breakfast in the B&B on two occasions and it is exceptional. Fresh fruit, a wide range of different teas, cooked breakfast or pastries. The hosts were extremely knowledgeable about the area and made some fantastic recommendations for things to do, places to visit and restaurants to eat at, even booking the table for us. They could not have been more helpful. The swimming pool is lovely - not large but very adequate and clean. There is secure parking on site. The B&B is situated an easy walk to the beach, and also an easy walk to the shops and restaurants, but there is also plenty of parking near the shops as well.
Cons: The weather! It was unusually cool and wet for the time of year. There was still plenty to do, but it means that we will have to come back again to do the things we couldnt do because of the wet weather.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room exceeded expectation, especially for the amount paid. The hosts were extremely accommodating, and the property is short walking distance from the beach which is amazing. I have never met such hospitable and caring hosts, and they even helped us with contacts for taxis and showed the spots of where to go. The breakfast was also delicious, also good with friendly company. The entire energy was comfortable, positive and friendly.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hosts, that were eager to share tips for plettenberg bay and beyond, would always stay there again!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Adrienne and Bennie, what a beautiful friendly couple. Perfect hosts made us feel welcome when we walked in,true sense of hospitality. Martha, our waitress, what a friendly lady! We will definitely return there again the one night stay was way too short.

Cons: No TVs channels in the room Very dark in lounge and dining room as all the curtains were closed !
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The owners (Willie & Rina) are the best hosts you can get!

Pros: Everything.
Cons: I was treated like there own family. The Host were absolutely lovely. I must recommend this as the the place to stay in Plettenberg bay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect, great hosting, excellent breakfast
9.0 Excellent
Pros: We felt so welcome into their home and the lovely host even drove us around town. We had a great stay.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Our hosts! Rina and Willie are super sweet and welcomed us in their guesthome as if we were friends rather than "just guests". Willie spent some time at the bar with us in the evening which was very nice of him. As one can see on the pictures, the interior isn't super modern. However, the kindness of the hosts makes up for this 100 percent. I would rather choose to stay with Willi and Rina in Plettenberg Bay than in an anonymous hotel room. Plus the breakfast was nice! I would recommend this facility without hesitation.
Cons: There's nothing big to complain about. Everything was neat and very clean! The rooms are a bit crowded when you have a lot of luggage. However, there is a closet you could put your clothes in. Maybe one should mention it is best to have a car, as the guesthouse is located up the hill.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: It was not my first time, I always book there because of their hospitality.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I only took the fruit portion. It was fresh and I enjoyed it
Cons: TV should be checked after individuals check out. Ensure it is working before new person move in.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly hosts. Lovey guest house
Cons: Nothing

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very luxurious environment and fabulous attention to detail by all the staff. Everything was perfect! We upgraded our room on arrival to a suite - this had lots of space, walk-in wardrobe, huge bathroom and amazing sea views. The breakfast was superb with attentive staff taking orders for hot dishes and providing fresh toast, tea and coffee. The breakfast buffet was superb. The restaurant for dinner was extremely good, varied menu and good value. The communal areas, lounges and pool areas were beautifully decorated and well furnished. The staff were smiling and happy to provide an efficient and gracious service across all areas of the hotel! This was the BEST HOTEL, but the most expensive hote, we stayed in during our 3 week South Africa trip and we stayed in 7 different hotels!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Where to start.... Location, few minute walk from lookout and a lovely sandy beach. Great facilities. Staff were incredibly helpful and made the occasion extra special, even if they got my wife’s name wrong on the paperwork. Restaurant there served incredible breakfast along with lunch and evening meals. Pretty much everything about this place is amazing.
Cons: Stayed for my honeymoon and on either correspondence had ‘Cynthia’ when in fact my wife’s name is Danielle. I found that to be rather insulting upon arrival and check out (I had corrected this on their paperwork). Where they got this name, I have no idea. I appreciate that mistakes are made, however I felt this to be a poor touch. Nonetheless, the staff were all incredibly polite and helpful.
7.5 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: I didn’t the fact that when we arrived having prepaid for half the trip, we were put into a room which the knew no one would want to stay in and then charge an additional approx £140 a night extra to get what we should have got in the first place. As seasoned travellers and now knowing we will be returning regularly, I doubt we will be staying at the Plettenberg (unfortunately ). The original room we were given would struggle to achieve more than £250 a night of anyone’s money. We ended up paying nearly £700 a night .
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable, very good restaurant, lovely location, excellent massage and perfect view.
Cons: The rooms are a bit expensive for SA and even for the very good standard. But we will definitely come back.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Well run hotel with good attention to detail
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Luxurious atmosphere and facilities
Cons: Wifi strength and speed was poor!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: It’s location and views. The rooms were clean and classic. All inclusive breakfast was abundant and delicious.
Cons: The passage way outside our bedroom that anyone walking passed could look in.

Pros: The rooms are lovely romantic and beautiful , staff were nice and attentive - may be perfect for some couples who want to stay in their tree house and do very little

Pros: Beautiful peaceful escape in the forest. Good for the mind heart and soul!!!! A great relaxing retreat after a hectic trip with fantastic tree top villa excellent food and 5star service from all the staff. Would recommend as a couple of days of luxury before heading home!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The lodge is absolutely stunning and, as it happened, the weather while we were there was awful so we had every opportunity to stay inside and enjoy the fire and the luxury - unfortunately not the pool or deck. Our meal at Zinzi was fabulous - highly recommend.
Cons: By SA standards it’s definitely very expensive - albeit it is lovely.

Pros: rooms comfortable staff very helpful location sells the hotel however last year they had a superb restaurant which this year they had closed, a great shame
Cons: Stale cornflakes no croissants just bread of 3 types to toast yourself Small plastic containers of marmalade not enough for a piece of toast. Should have little jars like other hotels-- be green !
9.0 Excellent
Pros: From the moment you arrive you are made to feel welcome. This was our second visit. Our room overlooked the lagoon and was a bit on the small side but had a pleasant bathroom. They are obviously very busy, as we booked in May for January and a good sized ocean view room wasn’t available unfortunately! Fantastic location, right on the beach and you can easily walk across the sand (5/6 mins) to eat at the Lookout/Grand. Upstairs is a café style place and downstairs, attractively decorated restaurant (smart/casual) with lovely staff and good food. We hope to go back to the Milkwood Manor again and get one of those ocean view rooms!
Cons: Our room had a very small wardrobe.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great location, staff and food . Loads of quirky areas and great restaurant with fabulous views Definitely stay here - but take care in your room choice .
Cons: Some rooms don’t have air con and our room ( No 1 ) didn’t . It was simply unbearable - no sleep , even with all the windows and balcony door open !!. The staff are clearly aware and we discovered as we left that they moved our neighbours in No 2 to a room with air con . It’s such a shame as there are loads of lovely areas and attention to detail touches have been made throughout . It was a hot humid time , but , really !. My watch said the room temp was 40 degrees ( at night).

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Superbly appointed guest house. Good location. Helpful hosts. Excellent local restaurant recommendations. Attention to detail. Great breakfasts. What’s not to like!
Cons: Nothing. Perhaps wifi could be improved.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The house was located a 20min. walk to the centre. You stay with the hosts and their two dogs in their home so you should like dogs and you have to be aware that the hosts are always around you. The hosts (and their stuff) were very friendly to help you anytime (cab ordering, reservation at restaurants, tipps to go out etc). The breakfast was very tasty and while sitting outside you have an amazing view over the bay. We can recommemd this guest house!
Cons: We wanted to take a shower in the morning but one day we ran out of water due to the local water supply system, but TIA (this is Africa ;)) Although the breakfast was great, we would have loved to have a cappucino.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfasts
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The location is located a bit above the city center, with a perfect view on the beach. The villa is very modern and well thought out and designed. You can tell that someone really put effort in the interior and exterior design. The pool area and the pool itself is neatly located and nobody can look in this area. The hosts are very friendly and help you with booking restaurant last or with tipps what to do. We really have to admit it was one of the best places we stayed at during a three weeks trip.

Pros: The accommodation was beautiful and very nicely decorated. Very clean. We spent two nights in a sea view room and two nights in the garden room. We would recommend the sea view as was a lot larger and stunning views. The owners were absolutely lovely, very friendly and chatty and booked us restaurants each night which was very helpful. We also had a lovely welcome from safari their cat and Diego their dog. The breakfast was also very good with daily specials and fresh fruit and yoghurt!
Cons: Fans were sufficient in the larger room. However, the smaller room did get quite hot and could have done with aircon

Pros: Our hosts were very friendly and nice and helped us with everything we needed. When we checked in they left a congrats card in our room for our wedding, that was really sweet of them. The place is really beautiful and it seems like they have given a thought to every little detail. The room was big, clean and comfortable and we had everything we needed and more. Breakfast was excellent. Thank you for everything!

Pros: Peter and Sandra made us feel welcome from the get go, they were brilliant hosts! Always went the extra mile, whether it be to give advice on which places to visit or just an interesting chat. Breakfast was amazing, Sandra's cooking is phenomenal. The view from our room was spectacular. We will definitely be back.

Pros: Amazing place for Plettenberg Bay! First, owners are the nicest people we have met in our trip- so welcoming and helpful. We really appreciated it! The place itself is soooo beautiful. Fantastic modern design. Everything was spot on- from the bed, shower, pool, to the plates and butter holder in the breakfast. The breakfast was so good! Every day they offer a special meal, which is really special (like blueberry almond pancakes!) which they make just for you along with a smoothie. Such a great way to start your day. And the view! Wow! I wouldn’t hesitate to book this place.
Cons: A bit more expensive than other places compared to what we saw in SA but I still think it is worth it. We were in their smallest room (I think) and if you have the budget try the bigger ones (amazing views!). The area is not very central and pretty dark at night, but if you’re with a car it doesn’t really matter.

Cons: Not eating at the guesthouse
5.8 Okay
Pros: Nice view
Cons: They actually do not offer breakfast at the B&B. They should not call it a B&B as it is misleading. As a consequence I did not have breakfast. Basic room, old linen. I wouldn't recommend
