We upgraded when we got there. We don't believe the initial impression was that of a 5* hotel. The dolphins in foyer need to go they cheapen the hotel! We dealt with Elizabeth in Guest Relations, she was top notch, amazing, went over and beyond. In other hotels I have never experienced this level of service. Thank you for making our trip special. As we upgraded we ate in Volcan for breakfast which was fabulous. No bashing into people, waiter service provided and toilets in restaurant. We ate in Sakura (awful) and not consistent Asian. After that we cancelled steak house. Lunch and 2 dinners were in Dolce Vita amazing. Let down were lack of toilets. For restaurants the only toilet near was the pool toilet (one for ladies). So you go to eat all dressed up, queue for toilets, wet floors and generally dirty, not good enough for a 5* hotel and privilege. We went to lower pool which should be just privilege. It was mayhem at times. You had to go by 8am in order to secure loungers. The majority of staff were amazing in particular Elizabeth/guest relations, Julia/ priviledge, Reuben and Gabriella in Dolce vita, el volcon, Stefon, Jacob, Karen, Guillermo and Lauren, you all made our stay by being friendly, jovial and you all exceeded our expectations - thank you.

Lack of toilet facilities especially when eating in Dolce Vita and Sakura. Why isn't there toilets to share between both restaurants? Crazy to have to use the pool toilet which were wet and smelly. Privilege should mean Privilege! The sports bar needs to be opened up to welcome the inside out and TV or music needs to play. At times it was miserable. When I asked to turn on TV or music I got a grunt, not the response I was expecting, rooms need a deep clean, all wood, under beds, mini bar, glasses replaced, bar restocked. Housekeeping are brilliant and we were always met with a smile. To me they appear to be short staffed. Reception were generally miserable on the 5 occasions I went to visit. Incorrect information given and general attitudes. On one instance I needed to get band changed as it had broken so I went to reception. There was no one st privilege. The girl was extremely rude to me asking why hadn't I come earlier and could I not see that she had come from priviledge. I didn't get her name as I was fuming. She should be working back house!

Rooms could have been cleaner - cleaner came but floor still get unclean / cleaner came late (around 2-3pm when my daughter wanted a nap)

The pools and kids clubs are fantastic for little ones. The food in the Italian restaurant is very good and well worth booking. All the staff were very helpful and sorted any problems out quickly and efficiently.

We had to move rooms as it was very noisy next to the restaurants. The buffet can get very busy and as per normal at hotels we were overcharged when we went to leave, this was sorted easily but shouldn't happen. Avoid the steak restaurant it's not very good. The finish in our first room was very poor, towel rail off the wall, mould in the bathroom and two blown bulbs, the second room was perfect, so they can get it right.

Most of the staff were friendly and very professional. The food was great with much choice and good options. The restaurants on site were of good quality. Our room was out of the way and no real 'view', so was a bit disappointing, However, it was very clean and were happy with the room itself. - More hangers needed! Although there were many people at the hotel and sometimes at the buffet it was a little chaotic, for the rest of time, due to it's facilities, it didn't feel like it. The Spa is lovely! The grounds are beautiful and well kept Oh Dinner show was great! we had a lovely evening and worth a visit. The poolside diner was fab!, great service and good choice of food.

Didn't really not like anything, however, these are a few observations where it could be improved. -The booking of the other restaurants should be made fairer. We were lucky, we got to go to all 4 restaurants, which were all excellent. However, this was after booking via the staff at the Buffet restaurant. They were not available via the online platform on day one!. If we hadn't been made aware of being able to book at the Buffet, we would have missed out. - Although the staff were working at full capacity, in the main cocktail area, drinks took a little too long to wait, but then worth it. - We loved using Mike's coffee bar, however, the cakes etc should also be on the all Inclusive option. - The pools are lovely and clean, great location however, the water a little too cold and felt that there could have been some more sun loungers.
