The rooms and folks that worked there. Friendly and kind
Wish we had free coffee or discounted since we were guest
Awesome vibe, great bar and great food. Stylish room, comfy bed. Pet friendly!
There was some sort of mixer in the lobby - it was a PARTY! I enjoyed the ambience and being down in the middle of it while grabbing a glass of wine, but if you're sensitive to sound, you won't want to spend a ton of time in the lobby after 9pm!
Lovely, hotel, great location

This was my first stay at an Ace Hotel and I really appreciated all of the attention to detail and funkiness.
The room smelled pretty funky.
Ace Hotel Pittsburgh is located in the center of East Liberty. What makes Ace Hotel Pittsburgh unique is that it doesn’t look and feel like what you would expect from a typical hotel. The hotel has made its home in a former YMCA building and feels like it has deep roots in the community.
When booking a room at Ace Hotel Pittsburgh, guests can choose from a small, medium, or large room. Suites are available as well. The small room has a king or queen bed with a small desk. The medium room has the same, but with a bit more space and a window nook. Then there is the large room that comes in at 375 square feet. A suite measures in at 450 square feet. It has a king bed, places to sit and write, window seats, a Music Hall turntable and an acoustic Martin guitar. Amenities differ from room to room and include items like a Tivoli Radio, Rudy’s toiletries, a bathrobe, a hypoallergenic mattress, and vintage furniture.
Ace Hotel Pittsburgh offers to areas to gather, eat, and drink. There is the Whitfield, which is led by James Beard Award-Nominated Chefs, Bethany Zozula and Casey Renee. Here, visitors can enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner, brunch, and late-night bites. The Ace Hotel Pittsburgh also has a lobby bar that is spacious and very inviting.
There are also many fun events to take part in at the Ace Hotel Pittsburgh. On certain nights there is a live DJ, on-site yoga can be enjoyed on weekends, and holiday-themed brunches are offered as well.
