Pros:Overall great hotel. Only wish they had a hot tub and a better breakfast
Pros:It was ok. For the money I prefer renting a cabin from a person on Airbnb or Homeaway. Ordered chocolate cake it it had mold on it. Fireplace in lobby is nice. Staff friendly.
Pros:The staff was courteous and friendly. The main facilities were very nice and the breakfast was goood. The hotel was also decorated very nice for Christmas.
Cons:For the most part, we were happy with our experience. However when our AC kicked on, we smelled cigarette smoke in our room. The beds were also very uncomfortable.
Pros:How clean and how nice the employees are
Pros:The staff was amazing from checking in to the maid service and the chefs. You could tell they took immense pride in their jobs and were so friendly and helpful.

Cons:They didn’t take out the trash when they “cleaned” the room; pretty sure all they did was remake the bed.

Cons:We didn't have a balcony. But, the staff tried their hardest to get us one. Pillows were not firm enough. I had to use 3. The breakfast was good but, it was the same everyday.

Cons:The hotel was sold out the night we were there and the breakfast and pool areas became very crowded. Each of those areas was on the smaller side given the occupancy of the hotel.
Pros:The Black Fox Lodge is tucked away back from all of the busy traffic of the main "strip" in Pigeon Forge, which we loved. Most hotels there are in the middle of the the flashy lights and constant traffic, but you turn off of the main road and you're greeted by a secluded, gorgeous lodge that feels like it's in its own little world. The details from the moment you drive up are amazing, and walking into the lobby is an incredibly impressive sight. There is a small river behind the hotel, and the rooms that overlook it are a lot of fun. The buffet style breakfast was far above the continental breakfast of most places, and the staff was all extra nice. Easily our favorite non-Disney hotel now, and we will absolutely be back.
Cons:There was construction on the other side of the river making noise during the day, but that wasn't the hotel's fault and it's just temporary. The parking lot fills up very fast at night, but I think it's just that so many people have found and love this place and stay there.
