Pros (+) It was ok. For the money I prefer renting a cabin from a person on Airbnb or Homeaway. Ordered chocolate cake it it had mold on it. Fireplace in lobby is nice. Staff friendly.

Pros (+) The staff was courteous and friendly. The main facilities were very nice and the breakfast was goood. The hotel was also decorated very nice for Christmas.
Cons (-) For the most part, we were happy with our experience. However when our AC kicked on, we smelled cigarette smoke in our room. The beds were also very uncomfortable.

Cons (-) We didn't have a balcony. But, the staff tried their hardest to get us one. Pillows were not firm enough. I had to use 3. The breakfast was good but, it was the same everyday.

Pros (+) The Black Fox Lodge is tucked away back from all of the busy traffic of the main "strip" in Pigeon Forge, which we loved. Most hotels there are in the middle of the the flashy lights and constant traffic, but you turn off of the main road and you're greeted by a secluded, gorgeous lodge that feels like it's in its own little world. The details from the moment you drive up are amazing, and walking ...
Cons (-) There was construction on the other side of the river making noise during the day, but that wasn't the hotel's fault and it's just temporary. The parking lot fills up very fast at night, but I think it's just that so many people have found and love this place and stay there.
