The restaurant
Very good restaurant down stairs and one of the best budget hotels ive stayed at for a long time

As we are arrived around 10 am which was earlier than the check in time but still the lady at the reception gave the us room as soon we arrived, moreover, she upgraded us considering we had a 2 year old son. In addition, the gentleman (i would presume the owner) was a gentleman to help us with our bags till the room. We had opted for room only while booking. The chargeable american breakfast for THB 110 was filling and tasty. All the staff is extremely helpful and courteous, they helped us call sightseeing options for better information. Beach is 5 minute walk from the place, convenient stores close by, massage services close by, pharmacy at a stones throw distance. Their restaurant/cafe at the entrance has reasonable and amazing food with good music. Last but not the least, the calmness and serenity of the place was superb. Looking forward to our return here.
Saw small cockroaches in the washroom which can be little worry some especially if you travel with toddlers. Also, only 2 towels for 3 of us and only one blanket for the 3 of us. Even-though we reminded to give us an extra blanket and towel but not delivered.

Great location; only 300 meters from the beach; super restaurant with great local Thai food and lovely pizzas if you fancy a change. The owner also owns the pub opposite (30 meters) called 1 for the Road, which is a friendly local bar with good atmosphere and great staff.
Small things; My electric shower was great, but otherwise I couldn't get hot water in the wash basin in the bathroom. Cleaner didn't wash my teacup...…(seems a bit odd as she was very friendly and daily cleans were otherwise fine).

The staff is very nice and polite and helpful, the area is quiet but offering many services. The guest house has also a restaurant that is nice and the food offered is good.
It was really dirty, the toilet hadn't been cleaned after the previous guest and was really dirty and smelly. The bed sheets also were dirty and the smell was strange.
