It really is a little village, with a rabbit warren of rooms on different levels. A lovely concept, and I could see myself staying there for a week with a group of friends. A kitchenette, sitting area and outside terrace gives you lots of space.
It’s a little dated, but I thought it added to the charm in many ways. I was here in mid November, and the town was very sleepy and deserted, so don’t expect nightlife at that time of year. Enough things are open for it to be quite OK though.
It was off season and the hosts offered us an upgrade from a studio to a bigger apartment with great views. It was lovely.
I enjoyed everything, the staff is friendly and helpful, homey, quiet and clean room. Definitely recommend and will stay there again if visit Parikia again.
Great property, nice staff, good rate. Breakfast was a huge disappointment. Cold eggs, store bought croissants, warm nescafe. Hardly worth waking up for.
Breakfast was excellent. Omelette and bacon cooked for you when you arrived. Fruit, toast, yogurt, jams, pastries, cake, tea, coffee, ham and cheeses. It was very good value and the garden setting is beautiful. Location is great. Very close to terminal for ferry travellers yet quiet and not touristy. Great taverna just around the corner. Nearby to everything.
