Very well located hotel, quietly, very nice and serviceminded staff in reception (and elsewhere). Good value for money.
My room next to service room, therefore a little noise in the morning.
We had sweet with balcony it was perfect, breakfast was also ok
Everything is great! Got free room upgrate as coming there often, which was unexpected but pleasant surprise. Personal is very welcoming every time and ready to help. Easy access to all central places
I have stayed many times at the Continental. This was my first stay in the renovated more modern portion of the hotel in the rear with a sea view. The view was nice with screens on the window - a rarity for Ukraine. The shower was great. The bed was comfortable. I do prefer the rooms in the classical side as they are more attractive though the white walls in the newer side are good for brightness. The newly redecorated restaurant is much improved with a new menu though some old favorite like risotto are no longer on the menu. In the summer the Continental has a nice quiet ambiance compared to hotels up the street that are much louder in the summer.
Odessa has price inflation during the summer so hotel rates were twice what they are in the summer. That is understandable but perhaps at $100 it might be nice to include breakfast or discount it compared to winter. The room is small and feels cramped. The purple desk is hideous. The fitness room could do with a renovation as the Continental has a comparative advantage in one of the few hotels in the area with some equipment. Sadly what is in there is too minimal and the space is cramped. I suggest getting rid of the machines save maybe for one exercise bike and a set of free weights and or a more complete set of dumbbells up to 15 kg. Sandbags are also a good training tool that fit in a small space.
A stay at Continental Business Hotel places you in the heart of Odessa, within a 10-minute walk of Potemkin Stairs and City Garden. Featured amenities include a business center, limo/town car service, and express check-in. Planning an event in Odessa? This hotel has 431 square feet (40 square meters) of space consisting of conference space and a meeting room. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free valet parking is available onsite.
