Overview

Northampton made its name through shoes and shoemaking, becoming a county town with a proud craft heritage, rich history and a lively cultural scene. The Plough Hotel sits on Bridge Street, close to the heart of the town, and was built in the 1890s as a coaching inn, welcoming visitors for more than a century. Originally associated with the Northampton Brewery Company, the hotel has been part of the town's story through changing times. Today, The Plough offers modern comforts with a welcoming lounge bar, flexible function spaces and free onsite parking, all within easy walking distance of Northampton town centre. The Royal & Derngate Theatre and Franklin's Gardens, home of Northampton Saints rugby, are nearby, while a short drive takes you to attractions including Silverstone, Althorp House, where Diana, Princess of Wales, grew up, and the canal museum at Stoke Bruerne. Book your stay at the Best Western The Plough Hotel.
