The hotel was just what we needed. Was in a great location but as it was out of season there were no staff about which was fine but thats why I couldn't rate them.
Good location, helpful staff. There is a key safe outside if you lock yourself out.
We found it hard to lock the door.
Location: some (not mine unfortunatly) have sea view and is close to the city centre and value for price is amazing comparing other nearby locations.
Check in and check out procedure is strange and the bed was not comfortable and the toilet was too tiny and there is this certain smell in the corridors
Very very happy with our stay! We stayed for the valentines weekend which falls into the part of the year that the hotel works as a self catering accommodation with no staff but it worked amazingly and there was so much information if we needed anything. Staff were very informative in email and messaged a lot beforehand to make us aware of everything. We booked two nights on two different bookings and they happily put us in the same room for Our room was spotless, a lot bigger than expected, warm, had extras we didn't expect and the bed was extremely comfy. We had a sea view which despite the awful weather was still lovely to wake up to. The bathroom was modern, bath a very good size. The communal space was really good! Pool table for £1 a game, darts for free, and bookshelf, lots of room, ice freezers with ice buckets and any glass you could possibly want to use. There is a very good kitchen area with anything you could want including appliances, plates, cutlery, trays... There's even a washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board! Location is amazing, surrounded by great restaurants, cafes, town, shops, the cinema, aquarium and only a short walk to the sea. I would hugely recommend this hotel. Value for money is amazing and we will definitely be returning.
The only thing I can say is that the pipes are quite loud when toilets are flushed anywhere in the hotel but I made the staff aware and their response was excellent so I'm not rating them down for it!
Clean, good location and great price for a comfy bed for the night.
The shower didn't work properly in one our rooms.
