Fantastic setting and wonderful food.
The staff were very friendly, especially the reception and the doorman was very helpful. The design of the room is great, but the rain on the sky light did wake us up. It has a lovely location beside the park. The food was good as were the waiting staff.
The rain on the skylight in the new house room kept us awake.
The quiet location, high standard of rooms & excellent staff made our short stay a very enjoyable one. We will use this hotel again in the future.
Genuinely enthusiastic staff, clean tidy rooms and common parts, well designed decor and fittings in a character building restored with sympathy, retaining original quality fixtures, set in imaginatively landscaped grounds using native plants in an innovative manner.
The hotel was busy with two weddings and a full restaurant so the bar was under staffed.
The staff were friendly and very helpfull on our arrival. As our room was not ready we went into the resturant for a snack, which took an eternity to arrive, but was very nice when it did. Our room was pleasant , quiet clean and comfy. We enjoyed our stay.
