Best hotel for the next generation

Modern design, the lounge area is designed to incorporate as co-working space where people can do work or have meeting, rooftop bar with great view to the city and empire state building, free bike rental, friendly staff

The room is a little small compare to other traditional hotel but it is really clever designed to maximize the use of space. There's only one glass door between the bathroom and the outside. If you share the room with someone, your 'business' could be heard.

    Well designed, great vibe

As an interior designer, I have an appreciation to the level of design and details. The room was small, but because of thoughtful use of space, it functioned really well for our needs, plus with an expansive corner of floor to ceiling glass, it still felt open and airy. Great views. We loved hanging out in the public spaces, listening to live jazz. Only disappointment was that the roof deck was not open during our stay. Would have liked to have experienced that. The breakfast toast available in the lobby was amazing.

The HVAC system was loud. I did not sleep well the first night because of it. The entry doors are huge and heavy. While the ADA automatic door buttons were helpful, a door man would be a nice addition to help guests in and out of the Lobby with luggage. The elevators were slow. At times there was a line to get on the elevator on main level.

About

Overview

Arlo Nomad is a thoroughly New York micro-hotel with a buzzing social vibe. It has made its mark in the New York hotel scene and is one of the most stylish, accessible, and wallet-friendly upscale options available.

New to the hotel world, The Arlo NoMad is highly popular with all type’s travelers, though are solo travelers, couples, or pairs of friends. For tourists wanting to stay in Manhattan's most busy and trendy neighborhoods, the NoMad location of this hotel is hard to beat. The hotel sits at the convergence of multiple communities including Korea Town, Murray Hill, and Herald Square, which means restaurants, cafes, and bars are all within a five-minute walk. The Empire State Building is within a four-block walk, while Bryant Park, the New York Public Library, and Madison Square Park are all within walking distance as well.

Hotel rooms are compact with space-saving designs and sharp décor. Nearly a quarter of the rooms are corner units with dual-aspect windows, and the Sky Rooms have jaw-dropping city skyline views, many directly onto the Empire State Building. Bed options in the rooms include bunk beds, queens, and kings, and standard features include free Wi-Fi, minibars, electronically controlled blinds, flat-screen TVs, and more conveniences.

The Arlo NoMad gives travelers an only-in-New-York experience with neat perks and events, plus great food and beverage offerings. There's Massoni Bodega in the lobby that provides fresh coffee and the official restaurant, Massoni, is founded by Dale Talde of "Top Chef”. The social vibe is fostered by bars, Barlo and The Heights, and free access to a New York Sports Club.

Arlo NoMad is focused on local style and packed with events program that can only be found in New York. The compact rooms with high-end amenities are a treat for travelers.
