Staff was awesome and friendly. We arrived very late, 1:00 am, because of Amtrak. Knowing we would be late the staff made check-in very easy. The atmosphere is as advertised colorful and funky. The room was great. The only thing I would add is more seating other than the bed. Breakfast was great! Staff were friendly and helpful. There was something different everyday that offered a bit of Creole cuisine. The one downside was that my wife doesn't do spicy at all.
This place is a hidden gem! The room was comfortable, breakfast was delicious, and streetcar was right around the corner. Perfect location and the staff was wonderful! We will definitely be staying again on our next visit.
breakfast very good, really liked the location. we walked to most of the places we visited. room was the budget so small, but comfortable and more than adequate for us. loved the outdoor space and the aesthetic of the place. people who work there are wonderful
weak and flavorless coffee
Staff really, really friendly and always in good mood to help. Breakfast was very good as it was always tipical food cooked by an old lady from New Orleans. It is close enough from French Quarter (walking distance) but far away so that you can get to know a different part of the city. It is indeed a Bed and Breakfast: the room is clean, functional and the place is great, but you shouldn't expect fancy features over there. Had a great overall experience. Would definitely stay there again.
Nothing to complain.
Proximity to parades and restaurants. Staff very nice and efficient. Breakfast great. Convenient to many restaurants. Including parking spot.
It was Mardi Gras, so this may have had something to do with housekeeping, which was inconsistent in cleaning room. Parking spots sometimes filled with Mardi Gras revelers. Had to wait until they left.
