The hotel was in a very walkable location and the staff were friendly and helpful.
Good location. Nice staff.
The breakfast was very basic and out room wasn’t fully cleaned when we arrived and the next day the toilet overflowed. The walls are very thin, can hear the arrival of the elevator. Not worth what we paid.
Loved the room and the overall decor. It had a great retro vibe.
However, the lack of sustainability completey undermined this hotel. The level of waste for the breakfast is utterly inconsistent with best practice. Every item offered was single use and disposable. There were also single use plastic cups in the bedrooms. A simple and sustainable change to appropriate alternatives would address this and be entirely more consistent with the look of the hotel.
The fan/heater/AC unit was right next to the bed and blew air very strongly onto me while I was sleeping. I had to put pillows over it, which was inconvenient.
That my 2 and 1/2 year old found a Qtip within 2 minutes of entering our room. We were there 4 nights and although someone made our beds, nobody every cleaned. They checked on us once to see if we needed more towels and overall the staff was not very helpful or attentive. It was not worth the money we spent to stay there.
