The place is very well located, close to metro lines and close to the tourist area. Despite sharing a small space with nearly 25 beds, the beds are comfy and the common area wasn't noisy.
- They struggled to find my reservation, and when they did they told me they didn't have the room I asked for. - The shared male room is a nearly 25 beds room, without an actual door and no windows. - The toilets and the showers are the same thing, expect only Chinese toilets in the shared-rooms section.
Great location for price
Employees had very bad English to no English at all. They had to use a phone translator. The receptionist told us through phone translator that in the 4th floor we could pay 7 rmb to eat breakfast, but when got there and asked the waitress, she did not speak english and just pointed to a menu with prices starting at 25 rmb.
Friendly staff, superclose to the Temple!
The rooms were not isolated so we heared a lot of noise from the streets. We could also smell the cigarets from other guests (hallway and even in our own room.
Location is great, right at Confucius temple. Toilets/showers were clean. The bed was comfortable enough. The roof top bar is beautifully decorated and there are cats there! It's cheap and decent, I would recommend this hostel. Are these cage lockers and you can borrow padlocks from the hostel.
The female star room can be a little noisy in the morning as there are a lot of beds in the room, I was there when it was quite empty, but I imagine when it's full, it will be loud. The ceiling near my bed was dripping and the hostel staff had put a bucket there. No drinking water fountain, just boiling hot water. I imagine some people wouldn't be comfortable at the shower that drains into the squatting toilet, and that both genders use the same showers. Sometimes the key card stopped working on the door, sometimes the door was just left open so the security was a little so so. Sometimes internet connection was poor
Location is superb none better at any price.Terrace.Bar.Public washing shower and toilet facility attached to terrace.Outside drying clothes area back of terrace. Have washing machines but I wash small every day.Near metro exit. Location is where it says it is on MapsMe. Blink and you will walk past.
Shower attached to room not work but have outside public excellent facilities on same floor attached to terrace bar.
