Location and rooms are functional

The staff at the front desk appear not to be aware of customer care etiquette and true whilst it is a budget hotel any budget hotel today is very well versed in customer courtesy and care. When my guests came to check in early morning after a long drive they were first greeted with the statement they don't have a room despite they sharing the booking reference. Then when the gentleman at the counter found the reference at 02:00 am he says it was for the previous day. He did not seem to know that a hotel room day is from 13 noon to 12 noon the following day. Also the hotel does not inform clearly that some of their rooms are without air conditioning. It comes as a surprise at time of check-in and whilst I don't mind paying for an a/c room it is a rude surprise.

The location and room was clean.

The billing amount was way different than the site. As in the site it was mentioned 2600 but paid 2739 for the room. When called the house keeping, room service and front desk several times there was no answer. Inspite of paying so much there was no iron box and the supply of beverages spotted by 10pm which is ridiculous.
