Pros: Moscow is a very beautiful city, very clean, with kind people. They helped us several times in English if we were lost or could not understand the Russian language. We have been there 6 days and we can not find anything that was wrong or irritating. Good restaurants too. We certainly will go back.

Pros: The staff greeted us nicely in English and explained the hotel's amenities. They told us to see them if we needed anything. We asked for directions and they were very helpful. They arranged transportation. For us to an outside market. They even had umbrellas we could borrow! On our last morning they opened the buffet early for us so we could eat before catching our plane! Anastasia was a wonderful restaurant manager who bent over backwards for us!

Pros: Breakfast and hotel service was excellent. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The Space Bar, which is the main attraction, was unfortunately closed on our stay. The spa, swimming pool area and the gym is great. The hotel was a short walk away from the Metro. The Performing Arts Theatre was right next to the hotel. The view from our Panoramic Executive Room was amazing.

Pros: Every staff member is a real class act, from the guards at the entrance door helping with luggage, to the friendly reception staff, to the waitresses (Anastasia is a gem, making the best cappuccino outside of Italy, dark with lots of thick foam),to the Spa masseuse Jajaini from Kergystan, and the excellent housekeepers! Everyone was attentive, friendly and made sure we had a wonderful time! They even offered us some prosecco, fine chocolates and French macarons for our special occasion! Set in a modern building, the hotel has spacious, comfortable, quiet rooms with great firm bedding and great lighting. Restaurant is nice, as well as the spacious lounge/bar where you can have a lighter breakfast till midday, and drinks late at night. We loved the Spa with Turkish bath, sauna and gym open quite late. Massages and facials were just so relaxing after hours of touring (except the honey massage which is quite rough and invigorating)

Cons: Hotel is a tiny bit out of the very heart of Moscow, set in the peaceful neighborhood of Zamoskvorechye, but still very central: 10mn by foot to Novokunetskaya metro station, 10mn by foot to Tretyakov gallery, 25mn by foot to Red Square, a blessing in January as you don't get the holidays maddening crowds and checkpoints of the Red Square area!

Pros: Well we stayed there over new years. We booked a regular room... which wasn't that cheap. However, one needs to consider that it was new years. The guys from the hotel upgraded us into the suite with the best view ever!!! (See picture) Was worth every Cent! We had a great time. Furniture could be revised, but great room service, stunningly nice staff and amazing location made up for it!

Cons: I first got a Deluxe room, but was a little dissapointed at first, so I asked for a bigger room instead. The hotel manager was kind enough to fulfill my request immediately, at no additional cost.

Pros: The location was superb, but the best features of this historic hotel are its truly boutique feel (only 67 large rooms with tall ceilings) and fantastic staff, especially the doormen , the spa attendants and the maid--all lovely and caring people, a genuine pleasure to deal with. I liked the historic restoration of this hotel and the story behind it. Long live the salamander!

Cons: The mattress was old school, i.e. springs hard as rock, not a typical high-end pillowtop or postupedic mattress one would expect at a luxury hotel and no down duvet They really can do better than this bc other than this issue, the hotel is really wonderful, and even the pillows were very comfy, which shows that they can do it right with the bed.

Pros: The neighborhood is great: quiet, with lots of restaurants. The room is large and comfortably laid out.
Cons: The hotel is run down - it is 'fine,' but rooms need renovation. Our room was very stuffy. The paint was chipped throughout, and fixtures like the sink or door stop were falling off, or broken. Also, the shower door didn't close properly. It feels that this hotel might have been nice when it was built, but now is forgotten and unloved. We chose this property for its spa elements and were very disappointed. The pool is a large above ground bath tub in a depressing poorly-lit basement and is much small then appears on the photos. The gym is also undersized and feels like a closet for discarded exercise equipment. Plus, the spa's decor is confusing, in that you can't understand the floor plan, and get easily confused finding doors and exits. Getting to the gym, pool, or spa, means walking through the populated lobby in a bathrobe - yuck.

Pros: Hotel is well located. You can easily catch the bus in front to go to the center of Moscow. The room was big.
Cons: The living room in the room smelled like smoke even if it was a non smoking room. The hotel had an event every night and the music was really loud late into the night. The cleaning lady would forget to restock the coffee or water bottles.

Pros: It was a pleasure staying at this Brand new property, which is 5 minutes walking from the Metro Taganskaya . Is a nice hotel with excellent food and service and stuff. They offer complementary fruit, chocolates and coffee in the room. Breakfast is good and you can choose in the big menu , etc. Also the restaurant is very good and reasonably priced. Overall the experience was brilliant and enjoyed or weekend getaway a lot. I will definitely stay there again. Big thanks for ALL STUFF

Cons: On check out it took 1.5 hours to wait for some laundry from housekeeping. Almost no language skills at reception. Had to use google. They then booked a taxi from their friend ( not a taxi firm) . He didn't know the way. I missed my return flight.

Cons: Nobody at the hotel speaks English and you can’t get any information regarding your stay or Moscow beside what you have read while making the reservation. The room that we booked is called The standard 4 beds BUT in the room there were only three single beds and one pullout chair, so it definitely is not STANDARD for 4 people. They say that you can pay either cash or card when you book your room but when you get there, you can only pay cash. Overall, information the hotel gives here you are not true.
