Pros: We come every year with a group of 20 couples. We usually stay at the Blue Sail Inn, but I wanted to be closer to the water. This place exceeded my expectations. The staff was exceptional, the premises extremely clean, the view spectacular, proximity to everything on the Embarcadero was excellent and very quiet. I loved the fireplace, the beautiful sleigh bed and very modern, clean bathroom and Facilities! We went from a 3 to a 10 in a hotel, and I am very pleased. We will definitely be coming back here next year. It's my new kept secret.....shhhh

7.0 Good
Pros: The couple that own his hotel are such a pleasure to do business with. We enjoy seeing them every visit.
Cons: We got in late so we were put in the last available room that was slightly below the usual standard at this motel. No big deal, sink slow to drain, couldn't get the heater to work, all things the owner would address if we had arrived earlier.

Room was small but well designed, "two" comfortable chairs with a table, china mugs instead of paper or styrofoam. Good location, quiet end of main street and very easy walk to the waterfront. Rooms are not cheap in Morro Bay but this was good value for the money. I would definitely stay here again.
Cons: Some noise transfer between rooms (to be expected due to the era it was built).

Pros: This hotel is a sweet reminder of places from the 60's & 70's. It's modern in important ways, super clean, good lighting, flat screen tv, wifi, etc. However, it has the low key, simple charm of hotels as they used to be. It harmonizes with the easy-going vibe of Morro Bay. Great location; Morro Rock, the Embarcadero, Anchor Park, laundromat, restaurants and music venues all within walking distance.
Cons: Tiny shower, difficult to move around.

Pros: location
Cons: Cable Television was not functioning nor Wifi which was very disappointing but we eventually used our own 4G - it still wasn't even fixed in morning -the light bulb in room was so dim it was unusable. very petty cost saving thing right? Small things but when you pay 200$ w Tax it is not good value for money- this is 3rd time I have stayed and we never had issues so I hope they can keep facilities maintained. I think I should get some credit or partial refund.
7.5 Good
Pros: What I liked most about the hotel was that it was great walking distance to EVERYTHING that’s located in the Morro bay shopping/ Bay Area & ocean. The price also wasn’t bad for a two night stay for the area ($237) and during a pretty busy weekend! Staff was nice and helpful and they also cleaned and well stocked our room while we weren’t around without us having to ask! Fresh everything!!! which was very much appreciated! Very clean!
Cons: Our room was very clean and did it’s job of giving us a place to stay don’t get me wrong but it wasn’t very comfortable. Our bed was noisy so if I turned or got up or if he turned or got up in the middle of the night it woke us both up lol. My back is still killing me from the first night (we just got home). I guess I’m spoiled by my bed at home lol. Just my opinion, not comfortable beds! Also, there wasn’t any air conditioning, at least not in the room we had. Our closet had a plug in fan we could pull out and use so it kind of helped but the room was muggy and hot because of no air circulation that you get with an AC unit. The cable had issues so we couldn’t watch tv before bedtime/ to wind down. Little things here and there but an over all ok place to rest.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the cleanliness and location.
Cons: Complimentary water bottle would be great.
7.0 Good

5.1 Okay
Pros: Hotel was situated within walking distance of most of Morrow Bay shops and dining. Ambiance of the room was alright, the room had a fireplace in it, although that may have been a factor to the room being quite cold when checking in.
Cons: Room heater didn't work, although there was a portable plug in heater in the room that worked quite well. Walls and insulation were mediocre, but expected at the price of the stay.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was large and the bed very comfortable. We enjoyed the location in Morro Bay and the bathroom was roomy and comfortable. The front desk was a good experience and we felt welcome.
Cons: The room was on the ground floor, which we needed for this trip, but the noise factor was not good at times. People upstairs thumped around and we were near the staircase and ice machine and sometimes people are not very considerate.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location. We spent two days in Morro Bay for skateboard race (competitors) and did not move the car once from Friday afternoon until Sunday morning.

6.3 Good
Pros: The location is good. Room size is good. The off-season price has gone way up and we can no longer consider it a good bargain for the price.
Cons: We've stayed here many times over the last few years, almost always stayed in the same room, mostly because the bed was AWESOME! This last time however, was vastly different! They switched out the good bed for one that was so uncomfortable we could barely sleep on it! Also, the room had a dank, musty smell that it never had before. Left over food was in the fridge. There is water damage in the bathroom. Sadly, Pacific Shores Inn's quality has gone WAY DOWN! We wont be back.

Cons: Not many amenities. Soda vending machine is about it. Not a great view either. Good, but not great.

Pros: Location & view were superb. The bed mattress & pillows felt brand new. Also new modern fixtures in the bathroom.
Cons: Not enough table space. Chairs were too small.
