Staff very friendly and very kind. A lot to do on the property - as many activities or as few as you would like. Beaches, rooms, common areas all well-maintained and clean. Spa lovely and Ital cafe a nice addition. There are two really good restaurants in Montego Bay (not part of the resort): Mystic Indian and Mystic Thai. Those were well worth leaving the resort for.

Food was only OK - not bad, but never great. Usually just “meh.” Some rooms are MUCH better than others - many of the rooms in the Founder’s Cove section are badly in need of an upgrade. We had to switch out of our original room, it was so dank and in such poor condition. And, of course, the switch was to a more expensive room in the Eclipse section. But it was worth it. Just be aware when booking that some rooms are pretty awful. The pillows are not comfortable. They are small, foam things with no give. Beds are fine. The internet: how much can I discuss the poor quality of the internet? Probably not enough to really bring home the frustration of paying top dollar at a resort that has slow, unreliable and non-secure connection. I mean, really: it’s 2020. Come on now.

Spa hair salon offered very limited options for diverse hair, including lack of basic supplies. Stylist not properly trained or experienced in styling commonly accepted and current methods of styling hair.

Overall cleanliness, friendliness of all the staff members (right down to the garden keepers). The location of the room we were in was fantastic. The size and length of the beachfront of the Half Moon property is truly impressive.

The fact that a Service Charge was added to everything. As well as the requirement for a TIP on top of the Service Charge. While I appreciate the concept - the perpetual addition of a Service Charge and Tip meant that a cup of coffee ended up being $8-00 USD as an example.

    service, rooms,...

Excessive price of all restaurants of the compound. Lunch and dinner are more expensive than in the expensive restaurants of Paris, London or NY. This is shocking.
