Front desk and housekeeping staff were excellent and some concierge were excellent. Pool was great. Location excellent. The breakfast and downstairs cafe had excellent products available. View from my room of the mountain was great and offset the old, plain decor. Watching the deer and other activities on the mountain during wet weather was great. The washing line in the bath was very handy.

Rooms were pretty old (decor). Staff at downstairs cafe and porters/valet struggled with English and were rude and patronising at times. I wasn't made aware of some of the services and facilities available which I discovered as I was leaving. The dinner in both restaurants was disappointing. Unless you use the valet parking service you have to park a long way away. When the hotel rents areas out for private functions you can't use them.

The hotel is the most outstanding (tallest and biggest) in the village The pool areas both indoor and outdoor was superior to any I've experienced (beautifully maintained) The hotel lobby was beautiful and the facilities (eating, drinking) were pleasant and central

Can't think of much. At first I didn't appreciate the parking situation particularly the distance from hotel to parking lot 1 but soon as I got better acquainted I could understand why it had to be that way

About

Overview

Northwest of Montreal, Tremblant is one of the premier alpine destinations in Canada. The Fairmont Tremblant Hotel offers the rare opportunity to stay at a ski-in, ski-out resort with plenty of relaxing amenities.

With access to skiing so close, naturally the hotel caters to guests looking for snow sports, especially since it is the only hotel on the mountain to offer a ski-in, ski-out experience. However, Tremblant is a year-round destination and the hotel certainly does not neglect guests who prefer to stay off the slopes. The Fairmont campus includes both indoor and outdoor pools, open year-round. A full-service spa can also be found on the premises, and a shuttle is offered to the nearby casino.

The rooms offer all the comfort guests could hope for after a busy day. Down-filled duvets, Keurig coffee maker, and windows that open to let in fresh mountain air all await guests at the hotel. The Fairmont Tremblant also offers a variety of suites, including condo style units that feature full kitchens and up to three bedrooms.

With four dining options on site, guests have plenty of choices for food without leaving the hotel. The star of the resort is the dinner-only, reservation-recommended Choux Gras Brasserie, modeled after similar restaurants in Montreal. Also found on-site are a casual buffet-style restaurant, a bar and lounge and a café, famed for its summer barbecues.

Featuring the only ski-in, ski-out opportunity on the mountain, the Fairmont Tremblant is a treat for skiers and non-skiers alike.
